Actually Jon mentioned they would kick off the tour in Australia in December... maybe...possibly...
|
Australia... you are kidding right?
Where did you hear that? WOW.. I hope it's true..usually we are the last stop on the tour list. |
Jon himself said it in a radio interview a few days back.

Here's what the Info HQ are saying about the tour today...
Question: I just read in the 'Whats New' section the Bon Jovi are performing at the capital gig at Wembley Areana - will this be loads of acts doing a few minutes or are Bon Jovi going to play a big part in it? Also - I know , no tour questions, but can you tell us if it will be an international tour? Sorry! Thank you. asked by Nell on Tuesday, August 13 Answer: This is a Capital Radio concert - not a full-on Bon Jovi show. Bon Jovi are only doing a 35-45 minute set. There will be other acts added to the show though Capital Radio haven't announced who those acts will be. Bon Jovi obviously will have a big part in it as the show was sold out entirely just by announcing Bon Jovi! As for tour questions, there will be a tour. It will not be international. It will be in one place: Antarctica. And the audience will consist entirely of penguins (however, if they are fan club members, those penguins will need to get wristbands, er... wing bands.) :) answered by BON JOVI INFO HQ on Wednesday, August 14 12:31 PM |
hey everyone,
I also heard that bj would kick off the tour ova here in australia!!! I am just hoping that they come to Melbourne again tho. At the moment I don't think its looking good for melbourne, coz they are promoting their music in Sydney. Lets just hope that melbourne get the honors ova sydney!!!!! -Dan- |
I think that most Melbourne fans would love the idea of another concert, I just hope that the turn out for the last concert they had would not disuade them from coming to Melbourne. Referring to the appearence of Bon Jovi at the Universal Appeal Concert, at Docklands, then Colonial Stadium, now Telstra Dome.

Hey Rosscoe, I kind of see your point, but consider all the factors....
-It was a charity concert, so they had very little money for marketing. -Tix were only on sale for a month. -35000 is not exactly a disappointing turnout, its just that Colonial Stadium is just so damn big! -There were a million and one support acts, which actually turned quite a few people off because they thought that BJ would only do a short session. I'm fairly confident that with a successful album release, followed by a full-blown Bon Jovi concert, watch the people flow thru the turnstiles in their masses. :) |
