The first date of Richie's mini tour of Australia. This is the first of two headlining "sidewaves" that Richie will be doing in between the Soundwave Festival dates that will take him to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Is there anyone going to this show? Also any predictions on the setlist. This will be a full show, unlike the Soundwave shows which will only be 45mins.

I'll do my best to keep track of the Setlist and update it under this post.

I had a look a flights since I'm out of work at the moment but I can't really justify the $3 - 400 return journey for a $60 show when unemployed.

I did text a Brisbane friend and told him he should go check it out. We shall see.

He may play the JoviTalk favourite "Come Back as Me" since he 'released' it since the last tour. His last proper shows were a year and a half ago so hopefully things are changed up a bit. I could do without Who Says, for example.

But I'll give you a prediction - Church of Desire.

Less than 500 tickets were sold.

How do you know that?

Friends who went to the venue early morning in hopes of getting tickets, someone at the venue informed them that they didn't have to be so early, less than 500 tickets were sold. There are plenty left.

SuperBrad, my point was nothing really, just to point out how many were sold. I seen it on every Bon Jovi thread regarding a show, how many tickets were sold. Why is this different?

Hello, BRISBANE!! Psyched for tonight’s RICHIE SAMBORA show at THE TIVOLI? We know you are.
But how would you like to MEET RICHIE SAMBORA?
Here’s the deal in 8 easy steps…

1) Head over to The Tivoli. Doors open at 7:30pm.

2) Present your ticket.

3) Once you’re inside the venue, head over to the MERCHANDISE BOOTH where you’ll grab a LOTTERY TICKET (first come, first served.) And hey, grab a t-shirt or two while you’re at it!

4) Enjoy the show (remember — no opening act so you need to get there on time because it’s all Richie from about 8:15 onwards!)

5) After the show, RETURN TO THE MERCHANDISE BOOTH.
The WINNING LOTTERY NUMBERS WILL BE POSTED.

6) IF YOU’RE HOLDING A WINNING TICKET, REMAIN AT THE BOOTH.
The winners (4 in total, plus their guests) will be greeted by a representative from RICHIE SAMBORA’s TOUR STAFF.

7) WINNERS (and their guests) will be escorted by this TOUR STAFFER backstage.

8) WINNERS meet RICHIE SAMBORA! And hell yes! You can take a photo with him! (Tweet it, post it, share it…)

So, to recap the plan: get to The Tivoli early, head to the merch stand, grab a lottery ticket, enjoy a kickass rock ‘n’ roll show, then return to the merch booth after the show to see if you’re holding one of the winning lottery tickets to meet The King Of Swing!
