no more tour dates

Question:
In the fanclub zine Jon mentions that the band will be back in July for an additional leg of the tour. When can we expect more tour dates?

Answer:
We have no information on any summer dates. Don't EXPECT more tour dates. Use the information you have on the tour dates that have been announced and enjoy the shows. When there is news (if there is news) that Jon and the band want to announce in an official way, they will when it's time.

that was posted on bon jovi.com, the q&a section and it's kinda strange that there won't be any more tour dates for europe. are the bad sales of bounce to blame? i don't get it, the tour is so f***ing short. where is italy, france, finland, sweden???? they're doing only 6 european countries! can't they sell out stadiums anymore or are they just bored of it?

They are playing Giants Stadium this summer. Jon said this himself during the acoustic show in Jersey. :D

As far as im aware the tour is selling fine. The reason there isnt so much in europe is cause of the travelling. Why go to europe what u can play pretty much the whole tour in america?

ugly_queen_from_mars 01-28-2003 03:06 AM

that's very good but i'm more interested to know if they're going to add any more tour dates for europe since i can't go to the giants stadium... but i don't think they will... :(

1)they have fans over here, too, in case you haven't noticed
2)their albums sell better here than they do in the usa so their big audience is here and not there
3)in the usa they play in front of 8-12.000 ppl each time (except the giants) but in europe they play in front of 60-80.000 ppl each time.

Yes, but in the USA you miss one very important benefit. Their families are close! Not condoning the fact they are not playing Europe, but lets face it, it is convienent. :D
