Paranoid?!?! No ****in; way! He used to incorporate guitar parts from it during his extended solos back in the 80s but I would have never expected to see that one live...not even from Sambora. Sure hope there's some youtube footage of that somewhere.....
|
Yeah I'm really curious about a video of that one, too! Used to listen to Paranoid over and over as a kid :)
|
Good set list....until the last two.

That said, I'm with DevilsSon. I really want to see Paranoid! |
No vids from me, sorry... I think I was too stunned! Plus I needed my phone to last the whole day/night. Hope someone else got videos.
Richie also mumbled his way through a snippet of No Surrender (Springsteen song) acoustic - dedicated to his band - as an intro to Wanted. Pretty sure this was the set and order: Paranoid Nowadays Burn that Candle Down Lay Your Hands on Me Voodoo Child Learning How to Fly with a Broken Wing Don't Change No Surrender / Wanted Dead or Alive Livin' on a Prayer I had an awesome time and really enjoyed the set, but I couldn't help thinking he seemed a bit drunk or something. Hopefully I'm wrong about that. I had two mates there... one loves 80s Bon Jovi and thought Richie was shit and "off his ****ing tree". The other, who plays in a local band, described it as a dirty gritty passionate jam session, and said it was the best version of Lay Your Hands on Me and Wanted Dead or Alive he'd heard. Both said Ori was amazing. So yeah, mixed reviews. I'd give it 7/10. |
