How many tix sold in Germany for the bouncetour?

Is Arena auf schalke sold out? And what about Neumunster which went on sale much later.

As far as I know none of the concerts in Germany is sold out yet. Neumünster and Mannheim fits more than 100.000 people so it's quite difficult to sell them out.

I always thought that Bon Jovi were HUGE is Germany and their concerts are sold out there. But I guess things have changed now :(

In USA they are doing good. Bounce is not doing that well but once tour starts i hope it will start climbing on charts. Their concerts are selling great in USA. :)

They are still massive in germany but thats 100.000 seater stadiums your talking about they are not easy to sell out, through they will be come the tour time. I know that ibrox almost sold out (i think you can now only get tickets on e bay)

Sambo-Chris 02-04-2003 07:39 AM

They are still huge but it is more difficult this year since a lot of bands that have the same audience as BJ are touring here this year (Rolling Stones, Metallica, Bruce Springsteen even at the same time, Robbie Williams, REM just to name a few). The competition is very hard this year here in Germany.

When we bought the tickets for Mannheim concert from Tickets Per Post they only had 46 tickets left :?: :!: Is there a certain amount of tickets for every ticket office to sell or what? And I checked some other concerts (in Germany) from TPP and Kartenhaus and they didn't have any tickets left.

Mannheim can't be sold out. They only sold around 30.000 tickets yet for this concert and the field fits 138.000 people (that's what Robbie Williams sold until now).

I checked Kartenhaus and TPP yesterday and both still have tickets for all concerts.

I just checked TPP for Mannheim and it says they have 36 or something tickets left. It must be some quota thing (can I use that word here?).

Bon Jovi are just as big as ever. They're right up there with the Stones in terms of popularity here in Germany. However, we ain't talking about arena shows such as those they play in the US. Some of the venues they'll play in Germany have a capacity of 100,000+. Mannheim is TWICE as big as Giants Stadium, just to give you a rough idea. :!: As Sambo-Chris has already pointed out, there are a number of top-selling bands touring Europe at the same time which of course has a major impact on Bon Jovi's ticket sales. The stadium shows in Gelsenkirchen, Bremen, Erfurt and Munich will be sold out come tour time. Floor standing tickets for both Gelsenkirchen and Munich were sold out shortly after the tickets had gone on sale. Bon Jovi can always count on their massive fanbase in New Germany. ;)
