The Walrus & Bon Jovi

Look what walrus asked the oompas

Question:
Hey Oompas, just purely out of interest, whats 7800 Farenheit in Centigrade? :D
asked by The Walrus on Tuesday, January 21
Answer:7800 degrees Fahrenheit translates to roughly 2,437.5 degrees Celsius if calculations are correct. That's pretty hot. Even lava a coming out of a Hawaiian volcano usually has a temperature around 1150-1170 degrees centigrade. That is more than 2200 degrees farenheit! The lava very quickly develops a skin of cooler lava that is "only" about 800 degrees centigrade.
