Jovitalk - Bon Jovi Fan Community - You know you're JoviTalk addicted when:

I sware I wanted to learn for geography but again that was as boring as watching the grass growing. So I had a look at the NBJ board and saw the topic "Living on a message board". Well that brought me to the idea to write this list. I know there are a lot of better "you know that...when..." lists on the net but it was worth trying. So here it is.

You know you're JoviTalk-addicted when:

1. Visiting this massage board is as normal for you as eating and drinking

2. That's why you take your modem on vacation...

3. ...and even visit the board when you're at work/school

4. Your name is Becky, Jana, Jess or Mongoose

5. You know who they are

6. You have an average of ca. 40 posts per day...

7. ...or know who has this average

8. You know what the avatar of someone looks like when you see the nickname

9. You're a member of more than one usergroup

10. You know all news before you get any official info

11. You know more about the JoviTalk users than your own family

12. You name all JoviTalk users as "a big family" (and even include krb)

13. You always know the rank of Peter, Mongoose, Mike and Sara

14. Everytime you check your e-mails you get at least 10 that start with:
"Hello xxxxxxxxx, You are receiving this email because you are watching the topic xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

15. But you never read one of this e-mails until the end...

16. ...though you know where the two links in it lead to

17. More than half of your contact list (icq, msn, yahoo,...) are JoviTalk members

18. You created a new messenger account only for chatting with the guys here

19. You have friends all around the wolrld but don't know what they look like

20. It's even worse if you know what they look like

21. You know exactly with which number of posts you will get the next rank

22. Every time a pop up window opens you think that you got a new pm (even if JoviTalk isn't open)

23. You can't help but if you read the letter combination krb you can't think of anything good

24. If it isn't your first language you write and read more English a day than your first language...

25. ...and that's only because you spend hours by reading and writing messages here

26. Even for non-Bon Jovi stuff that's your first adress

27. You give a damn about Newsletters- you have Becky

28. You know the names of the top 100 posters by heart

30. You know the real names of the top 100 posters by heart

31. You end every letter or e-mail with ktf (even if it's not for one of the other board-addicts)

32. You post silly smileys just to bump up your post number

33. You got more live shows than you can listen to

34. You don't need any file sharing programs anymore to get BJ-related stuff

35. Your JoviTalk nickname is more important than your e-mail adress

36. You read until here

37. You notice that at least 80% of the listed points are true

and finally:

38. You've written this list or add more points

Additions:

jovilaura_fi:

- the people/topics/emoticons on this board come to your sleep at night
- you add the names of the emoticons here to normal e-mails, and you can visualise them in your mind. E.g. : roll :
- you can't wait to get a JT T-shirt with your nickname on it to be worn in any Jovi occasion

Taija:

- your bf (or gf) knows some JoviTalkers by name cause you talk with him (or her) about them

- you can't do what Taija said because your friends already think that your insane
