I don't get the point of that either. Chinese Democracy tanked, Def Leppard stopped taking 5 years to make an album, they just released them further apart. The actual album recording time stopped taking that long. If the original point was about Hysteria then comparing 1988 record studios to 2017 is a huge world of difference.

It's not the time between releases - it's the "making" an album, well since this thread began over 3 years ago. Constant, soon and dates thrown around will lead to fans loosing interest imo. That is a formula for failure. Inconsistent shows don't help. He said he was "funding" everything, my rumor mill said they were shopping labels two years ago. Looking at the last few years, would you invest? Maybe it's just a matter of where and how he wants to spend the money to release it now. The Spotify rumor didn't last long. He doesn't need the money so they can keep vacationing, play the occasional show and do basically nothing with pics included for a very long time yet.

I noticed that in a couple of last public appearances with Richie, Ori has not been around? Richie was at the Kentucky Derby just yesterday and Ori was a no show, but I think she was their last year, I think. Just curious

I read, just read, that she was there. Are you sure she wasn't? I haven't seen pictures of her, her name just popped up in my usual news search because Richie is always referred to as former Bon Jovi guitarist so stories that mention him pop up too.

Edit: Getty images show them both on the red carpet, but not together. They were together when everyone there performed at the same time, but it doesn't appear they performed as a duo.

They were at the Barnstable Brown Gala together a couple of days ago, and played there. They don't need to do everything together, space is good....

She was at the Barnstable Brown event the night before - interview on the carpet and pics are all over fb and tw. Sorry, didn't take time to link them. Did not see any pics with her the day of the race. It was a rainy, muddy mess of a day so she may have stayed in.

this! I guess too many people want them apart but for the time being, it's just wishful thinking. I think they are perfectly fine but who knows? Rich and Heather were "happily married" and then two months later their divorce broke the news...

It was a tongue in cheek comment. hence the smiley face at the end. I forgot that everything here had to be deadly serious all the time...won't happen again..
