If i was Richie i d release a digital ep with 4-6 new songs and also record a live performance in the studio, 1 h with excellent well rehearshed session musicians in order to create some buzz and get things going...
No matter the ego richie must have realise by now that no record company is gonna invest real money to promote an album, give them air time or gurantee them promotion. richie has the money and the people to promote it himself, he promote aotl decently and now he ll have ori by his side for a wider demographic. Sitting on a finished album so long only dates the material making it inconsistent most of the times.
He should rehearse and put out on the internet sth new performed perfectly and people will listen
