And other of my theories is that Jon had planned a longer tour that would extend in 2014. And that perhaps was discarded by the circustances of the moment. This could also explain the abandonment of Richie, since he would find himself trapped in the machinery for two years. But is only conspiracy theories. I always found it very strange that this Tour had 107 shows scheduled in less than 1 year. That is a brutality.

Whatever makes your story sound better...As far as facts go, we are sticking to the topic as to why Richie left and they are both telling the same story... it's about Richie leaving to spend time with his daughter... I'm okay with all of that and if Richie needed some time to do so, I'm all for it...

However the big BUT here is that he decided to bail on everyone three months in... I know you think that big bad Bon Jovi bullied him into it but I think a grown 52 year old man could have made that decision prior to the start of the tour... There is a bigger picture of Richie just ****ing Jon here... He ****ed everyone and that's as selfish as you could get...

Finally, he sees Jon moving on without him... without even skipping a step or blinking an eye so he decides to be a bigger dick and bash the band in an interview...

Those are facts... Everything else is just assumptions and bullshit...

"Probably" does in fact mean "more than likely" so I do tend to use it when I don't know something for a fact, but it nevertheless stands to reason. You might want to become more familiar with using the word yourself because, contrary to your final comment, there ARE no facts in your post. The entire thing is nothing but assumptions and bullshit - about what I said, what I think, what Richie thinks, or who ****ed who over in the band. None of which you could possibly know - except for what I said and you didn't even get that right - so there's not a single FACT in anything you wrote.

Yes.... I write 90% of my posts on my phone and this auto check is horrible... it changes words and I don't even realize it...

Rolo said no one seemed interested in trying to understand why Richie left before blaming him for leaving, which is exactly what I've been saying for 4-1/2 years - that it wasn't fair to blame Richie for walking away until we knew the whole story about why he left the way he did.

No hypocrisy there, friend.

And where, specifically, in anything that I posted did I tell you why Richie left or say that it was Jon's fault?

Let's try this one more time... Both Jon AND Richie are telling the same story... Richie left to spend time with his daughter (and to do his own thing at his own pace which would essentially help him balance out his professional and family)...

That's it.. No Conspiracy Theories!!! (This was well before he met Ori and things have obviously changed since and took a different direction)...

Your options are nothing but Conspiracy Theories. My facts are a little Power Phrased based on a series of facts...

Imo, this whole Richie thing is as simple and as clear as day as they come...

Got it. Neither of us knows anything for sure. I think that's what I said to start with. But thanks for the explanation, Yoda.

That's not what Power Phrasing Facts means... It means a summary of facts...

RDK are you a member of the pack that is Bon Jovi so you can talk with us using facts and not opinions or you just like acting like a know-it-all? It's really annoying as if your sig wasn't telling enough.

HA, I meant if Richie came back he doubt very much he'd want Shanks as a second guitarist, or a producer for that matter. ;)

If you believe that all of the reasons for the split have been told to the public you are seriously deluded. Bon Jovi has always been a very private band, and what they tell the public is not the whole story....nor should it be. Richie would not walk away from the band at the last minute because he wanted to be with his daughter. I'm sure that played a factor and it was in the back of his mind maybe that after the tour he was done, but something happened to force that decision to come sooner....and we will probably never know what that was...

We're straying way off topic away from the new album and into another tedious Jon v Richie debate.

Feel free to create another thread in the General Discussion category where you can all fanboy/girl to your hearts content. But from this point, keep this thread about the album. Any OT posts from this point on will be deleted.

If the album does get released on Sep 22, no-one wants to scroll through pages of this crap to find out about it.
