Masterpiece is one of the ones that I didn't like to begin with, but I probably like the most now. I don't think it sounds like a demo, it sounds pretty good. Maybe you are listening to the YouTube version which has some sound quality issues I think? Agree, more guitar would be good though...

I though Rise was messy to begin with, but I liked the track, but now I've lived with it longer I kinda got bored of it quickly.

Never really got that into Truth, but I still love Take Me.

I find Good Time a bit too cheesy, I think they were going for a country pop vibe, but I'm not sure it really worked.

Living with the EP for a while now Masterpiece and Take Me have really stuck with me where as the others I can enjoy only if I'm in the right frame of mind...but looking forward to what EP 2 has to offer!

I don't get why you still post in this thread RD. I know that you are praying for this to fail, because you think Richie is going to go running back to Bon Jovi afterwards, but you just come on here and repeat the same pointless stuff, like if you keep saying it more it will come true, while completely dismissing everyone else's opinion. You don't like him making music with his GF and not Bon Jovi, we get it. Move on and let those that want to enjoy it enjoy it without you repeating the same constant negativity to this thread all of the time! If you are not interested, just skip the thread..it's all good...

And if you think Richie in GNR would be a good idea..well, that says it all...

Pretty much. How many times can you review an EP in a thread about the album? THAT'S the "sad" part.

Not Really!!! You're just being overly sensitive and pissy!!!

Time is moving on and revisiting a topic a month after it's release is perfectly valid.. It's also about the tour now so making another valid point should be acceptable too...

I meant unfinished, no for the quality; I really like Masterpiece, I can hear it on repeat! (that's good)

Rise and What Have We Done were ready in July 2016; when Richie came to Brazil, he was kind to let me hear his new songs, I heard 8 songs and I didn't like them hahah (and I said that lol, of course we talked about other things that I can't tell, included the peace sign pic for Jon Bon Jovi), so when I heard Masterpiece last month, that was a nice surprice! -_-

Oh PLEASE keep telling me I'm pissy by repeating the same opinion over and over, calling it fact and going after anyone who doesn't think the way you do. You've said everything you've said over and over every few days. The project isn't for you, we get it, you can move on.

Stop!! I read the same people ripping Jon's vocals show after show like they just discovered something new yet I summarize a point about the overall project a month after its initial launch and you can't handle it... Maybe you should go Mod Backstage with RSO...

I can’t believe RDK is being called out for being repetitive in a subject with Richie in the heading.

Pretty much everyone who posts frequently has felt the need to repeat themselves, for whatever reason.

Thanks Becky and I agree... I was very opinionated with this project from inception and cooled down for a while. Once I saw that they had to postpone a show due to a lack of ticket sales, I decided to add in what life is like for an almost 60 year old Rock Star after Bon Jovi...

But not every other day with exactly the same points...

Oh yeah, look at this really mature, constructive criticism RD...
