I finally got around to watching this last night. My God, the interview was painful to watch. If Richie wants people to take RSO as an artist seriously, he did them no favors. Answering every question in a manner desperate for applause or a laugh got really old, really fast. I felt bad for Ori, who was trying to answer questions about their new music in an informative and genuine way, but had a clown next to her describing the shape of guitars as a woman's body and doing a mic drop after what he thought was a funny joke. And he showed zero humility. I don't know if it was insecurity, alcohol, or what, but he was not at all likable in this interview.

As for the music, I guess they are just not my thing. I have never really cared for her voice to start with, but I do not feel they harmonize well together at all. I would've preferred a new RS solo album.

Pretty sure file sharing is frowned upon on here, and rightfully so. If you want it buy it...

But Richie has always been the clown. Seriously, watch back some of those interviews from the 80s and 90s, some were incredibly awkward, but that kind of thing works better when you are younger, and he had Jon to bounce off of and be the more serious one. It doesn't really work with Ori. Hell, I remember an interview from the Stranger era when he compared playing the guitar to wanking. Cringeworthy as you can get. I'm just not really sure why people think it's different. it's the same old Richie. He just got old...

I love the song. This is Richie's blues classic, it reminds me Long Way Around, O' Come All Ye Faithful and Great Hall Of Fame.

No, I agree. Richie has always been a clown. And when he would goof off during interviews it was a good balance since Jon is more serious and in the early days pretty soft spoken. But the constant clowning during an entire interview meant to promote a new duo and their brand new music was over the top ridiculous.

He joked around a bit and used his funny voices a few times during this old interview, but the majority of the time he answered questions like a normal person.

So Where are you all from?

I've been hearing since 2016 that Richie is coming back to South America in 2018, I don't know yet if I would go this time, but last time it was awesome!!! I was in the soundchecks and Richie played a lot of songs, some complete and some short: Let it be, Bad medicine, Seven years gone (I said: Richie play Seven years gone and Who I am!, >_< lol), Never say goodbye, Ballad of youth, When a blind man cries, Heaven help us all and of course the songs that were played in the concerts.

I will post here my latest video in my channel (sometimes I think Richie played for me and my iPhone to show the videos to JBJ, >_< jiji): https://youtu.be/Bx3rJ9s-roY

and this pic that I took in Brazil July 12th, 2016

Can you prove it? Looks like fanfic to me.

About the new song:

Richie talks about the new song and even about Kon Chauvi, it's actually a good interview for once.

I will go like JBJ: "I have a lot to say and nothing to prove." >_< jajajaj
I asked for Seven years gone and Richie played it U_U (crying)
First time and last time that I have to prove something, okay? I would like to post EVERYTHING and in the REAL quality the WHOLE thing (not to record a little piece with my iPhone the recording in my computer) but I can't >_<: https://www.instagram.com/p/BcL3ZMpnSaj/

The interviews with the Sirius hosts are the first genuine, un-cringeworthy interviews he's done in a while.

Also, most disturbing to me about what he said in the interview the other night was when he joked he hadn't started drinking yet. So much for all the good bullshit he said during the Aftermath promotion

Well, sorry, but, I mean, I find it hard to believe that he would play When a Blind Man Cries and Ballad of Youth in 2016. But as you say, you have nothing to prove.
