For two song writers, who are constantly posting about their writing, having to rely on 2 studio covers and 10 original tracks to complete an album is not what Bon Jovi or Richie are about or were ever about... Live songs, bonus tracks, Bsides, YES!!! But for an original album to contain any covers for that matter is highly unlikely. It's cheaper to write your own anyway... Jon and Richie are known for being song writers and with 3 solo albums under his belt along with a bunch of bonus tunes, covers and official releases don't go together for any of these band members... At the end of the day, anything is possible... If we are looking at the stats, a 35 year old band that never had a cover on any official album, band or solo is not likely going to start now... The Boys Are Back In Town is the only think that came close but I consider Sons Of Beaches a compilation album... Come on man!!!

They both, I am fairly certain on interviews or social media said I got You Babe would be included, He said that Storybook Love would be on the album two years ago in an interview. They constantly remind the world that she was part of MJ band, even though the shows didn't happen - playing Black and White live is to keep that PR stream. I don't expect them to record it as that would require permission from the estate,probably wouldn't happen. He has recorded a cover in the past - the Les Paul compilation album he did a Wings cover. Always wondered why he didn't use some of his material?

They both have said 60 songs wrote, over 20 recorded and still showing recording pics. Turned his house into a studio now.They have literally posted pictures from studios all over the place (London, Hi, Malibu, Capital and over a month in Canada with Bob Rock). Guess you can tell the IRS that vacation was "work". Producer changes. That Roman, looks like a young Russian JBJ said he was going to be their opener on their "world tour" 2 years ago too. Read that Prince had over 1000 songs recorded in his vault when he died - but he didn't talk about it, as if it was ever to be released. Maybe they are just doing vault material! (roll eyes) He's funding - just needs to decide how he wants to spend. There is to date no label to push for a date. IMO they are just playing. Remember, they were producing Brooklyn Allman's album too? He said he lost millions in fashion and while he has it -no one wants to take that big of a loss.

If you look, kind of odd, several recording artists last releases numbered between 5 and 7% of their total twitter following.(Bieber,Perry) Including THINFS. This has been a lot invested already, the promotion/tour will be costly. He paid for all the headlining shows so far (except Brazil). He paid her to tour and leave Coop. Even when they opened for Bad Co. she posted private planes and Bad Co. was sharing pics on their tour bus. He still travels as if it's BJ and arenas. That is a lot of overhead.

What have we heard so far: A sappy love song - traditionally not popular.Look at Allman and Woman's failure, couple's rarely succeed. Who wants a Blake/Gwenn album? Next song with a familiar Aerosmith riff and an acoustic that if there had been no intro I would have though they just add/stretched the Prayer acoustic. Once it's out - numbers won't lie. Bragging (of course I expect exaggeration somehow) is over. Casuals won't fact check however. Need to come here for that. It's a put up or shut up time. Maybe I'm wrong - but money matters, no matter how much he has.

Sorry. Ori's accent threw me in a couple places, and there are still a few words I'm not totally sure of. Even after listening several times, I don't get the comparisons ppl are making with acoustic Prayer. IMO, the only thing the two songs have in common is that they're both acoustic.

You're welcome. You could be right about "like". Another friend said she thought it was "Freedom's just NOW breaking free." I still hear "about". Seems like there's a /t/ at the end. I was working from the C- snaps recording, not the one posted here. Maybe that accounts for the difference.

Any idea about the missing word(s) in the bridge? That's gonna bug me... :)

Yeah, my first thought was "bring back" and then I thought I heard "be, babe," but neither of those makes much sense with the rest of it, either.

Based on the following line, "it all relies on the choices we choose" it seems like it would be a word or phrase that means either to change or to prepare for/predict "all that we go through", but I can't think of a synonym that has the same phonetics that I'm hearing - something with a long "e" and a long "a".

I think I shall dig out a thesaurus. :)

It sounds like the word starts with an "a", like "arouse" or "arrive" or something. Didn't you or somebody say there's another recording of it than the YT version? Maybe it's clearer to make out there...

Yeah, I debated between "we go" and "we've gone". I could go either way.

(And since I've been so hung up on eee's and aay's, it occurred to me when I just wrote "debated" that the mystery word might be "debate". That could make sense with the "walking down these streets of blame". What do you think?)

You know, that could be for a different project. It doesn't say anything about making more music for THIS album. It doesn't even say it's for their own project so it could be something totally different.

That's one of the things I dislike about such cryptic messages. They don't really tell you anything and ppl interpret them from wherever they are in their own heads. I'm not saying that your interpretation is wrong, necessarily; just that she could have been thinking about something else entirely when she tweeted. Who knows...

And for what it's worth, Ori also told some fans who were there that it was definitely coming out in September.

And the September before that and so many months/seasons prior that I've lost count. Would be a project for someone with a lot of time to go back through all the posts/tweets/ig/interviews ...........

It's already August. Shouldn't there be a definitive date known by now if it's out next month? Or are they going to pull one of those surprise album releases that are the in thing now?

Yup - I have been hearing that from Richie since the 2003 album - I really don't pay much attention anymore. I wish him well but ......

I looked for RSO on amazon music last night and there is no song, album, or any evidence of their existence. An album out in September should be available for preorder by now.

Unless they are going to release it with no warning like other acts are doing, that is.

Let's face it, there will be no album...

It's a baffling process to take this long and so many producers on this project making sure everything is perfect to just drop it in the public in a months time with no lead up. Their twitter account is literally begging people to help them get to 5,000 likes by September.

If it just gets dropped on a random day with no lead up I feel like it'll get buried. They don't have Beyonce's cache and, as much as it sounds negative, other than the fans who have been waiting for this after every time we're told it's coming soon.....there's no demand from the general public. Putting something out closer to the departure when his name was a bit hotter would have made a zillion more sense but now neither Richie nor the Band have much going on for them.

The other question is, how much money are they investing in this project??? Bob Rock is not cheap plus all the other musicians they had to pay out... I mean it's going to flop commercially so is it worth the money?

This is a total long shot but I wonder if this is Richie's way of showing Jon that it's better to go old school... Take your time and use old school guys like Rock instead of Shanks, Ebin... etc...

If this was flipped and I saw pics of Jon and Bob in the studio and I also knew it was taking this long to pump out an album, I'd actually be pumped...

If Richie's way of showing Jon he's wrong in his ways...he's going about it by spending millions of dollars. Their twitter account posted an old photo of Richie and Ori working with Bob Rock in January of 2016. That can't be cheap considering we're nearing the last quarter of 2017.

I agree, if it was reversed and it was Jon in there with Bob Rock...for better or worse I know the album would get done. We'd question the decisions and every small detail but with how long this has taken, everyone's trust that it's coming out soon is shot. I really like Making History so I'm hoping it comes out.

I think with a bit of luck, we will have the first single in September, and if the thing is not so terrible, we could have the album before the end of the year. But who knows, we can only wait.

The record is finished for at least more than a year.
The problem here is that they dont have a label to launch it.
Lets face it,if this album is ever released,I think it wont sell more than 2000 or 2500copies worldwide.

Where did you hear it's been done for over a year? They constantly have shown pics of them recording with Bob Rock and alluded to it being for the album. Spill the beans haha!

Just put it in streaming services and throw a video of the single in youtube, already. It's not like records make money these days anyway, unless your name is Taylor Swift.

Then throw a fraction of the money used on the record to a killer band. Have a two weeks 24/7 of hard work for practice and go out on a super good tour and see if people will come.

Oh and stay sober while doing all that including the tour. All of it. Yes the length of the tour.

If the record was already out on the stores now,they could still been constantly showing photos of them recording at the studio with BRock...

That's not wrong but that's not enough to go on that the album that will be released has been recorded and sitting. That would imply they are either stocking up material or all the photos were from the album sessions which doesn't really make sense.
