Orianthi & Richie Sambora “Truth” at the Rock Hall

The staging on Truth was horrible.

Did anyone notice that the guitar tech brough at the acoustic for the solo and Ori either forgot to play the solo, or didn't bother! The tech was looking at her as if to say...do you want the guitar or not!? Walk With Me was much better, but Richie's voice was way too high in the mix and was over powering Ori's. Again, the vocals are just not gelling when they sing together. This is a huge problem. |

He just drags her around... like he's constantly claiming her...
This is not the Richie Sambora I grew up with and followed for 30 years... They just released that Tom Petty had more drugs in his system when he passed, then anyone ever knew... I just really hope for the best for Richie!!! He's a mess and if anyone thinks that this is how he's always been, they are delusional... Sent from my HTCD160LVW using Tapatalk |

It's a shame, because the Shows that they have done so far this year seemed like they had been much tighter as a band. But this show seemed to be a bit of a mess again... Here's Rise with some weird Keyboard and Bass sounds going on. The Les Paul sounds fine at the beginning, but by the end it is sounds out of tune again!? : |

So sloppy. It comes across as amateurish and at times, forced. Pity, as Richie still has a very decent voice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

When Love Comes to Town Hoochie Coochie Man Rise Making History Truth Walk with Me WDOA Cleveland Rocks - with Boys and Girls Clubs' Notes for Notes kids and 2018 High School Rock Off winners, Montage (who had played earlier during the day and were freakin' phenomenal, btw!). RSO's performance was decent. I've heard better and worse. There were some tech issues, most noticeably feedback. And yes, there was also a huge problem with the guitars slipping out of tune. I think the tuning issue was probably weather-related; because it seemed to be a problem for a lot of the bands throughout the day. The high Saturday was 33; and by the time RSO took the stage it was 24 degrees, and cold as **** with the wind off Lake Erie. Even as cold as it was, the plaza seemed to be full. So yeah, I'd say it was a good turnout. I think Richie caught the attention of anyone who may have been planning to leave before the RSO show when he came out to play with the Notes for Notes kids around 3-ish Saturday afternoon. That was way cool! We were eating lunch inside, in front of the Klipsch stage, when I began to pick up on some clues that made me think Richie might be there. Takumi and Vince were there; but my friend and I wrote that off at first, thinking that since they were already on-site they were probably just helping the RRHOF house band, Backbeats, set up. Then the Backbeats took the stage, and the front man said there were going to be a couple surprises. A few songs later, a rep from Ovation came on stage and at one point she started talking about the Ovation RS signature guitar. That's when I started to think he really might make a surprise appearance. The rep said Richie's royalties from the sales of the guitars would go to the Notes for Notes program and the Boys and Girls Clubs, and then kids from the Cleveland B & G Clubs were brought on stage to perform. By the time the Rock Hall CEO said, "Would you please welcome 2018 RRHOF Inductee..." I was already running for the stage. It was the first of a couple of cool surprises. While Richie was on stage he said there were going to be a couple of surprises in the RSO show that evening. I wondered about what that might be, until I stopped by the Montage table to buy one of their CDs. The lady working the table told me that the kids were going to be performing with Richie at 8:00; so I was stoked before their show even began. The finale of the RSO show was awesome with RSO, Montage, and the Notes for Notes kids doing "Cleveland Rocks". During the last couple choruses the fireworks show started and the PA went straight from Cleveland Rocks into Runaway, LOAP, and IML, iirc. We're going back the Rock Hall a few times during this week to see all the exhibits when the crowds are smaller. (They had reached capacity by 11:30 Saturday morning; and the rest of the day they were letting 25 in as they counted 25 out). The only things I've seen or heard about in the BJ exhibit are the hand-written LOAP lyrics and what looks like Jon's NJ jacket. I can't wait to see their exhibit as well as all the others. |

I don't get this. Richie is a professional guy and should act as one. You can improvise, do jams with the band but in a professional way. Not as a garage band like this. Sad. |

Jon is a great frontman with charisma because he can handle a safu like untuned guitars and make a joke of it, stop the song and start over. He actually makes mishaps like this funny (if that’s the right word) and knows how to carry on correctly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thank You! Look at what she shares and favors on social media. A lot gets quickly deleted. I had to look it up and see what a "molly" was, I had no clue. His mom just had her 82nd birthday - she's in NJ. He's surrounded by yes people and participants. Has been for years, even Heather's problems are coming more to light. Police report said they had responded to calls at her home as far back as 1991. Watched a special on Elvis. He fired anyone who questioned his drug use. Remember the a Dr. prescribed it mentality, so it must be safe. Everyone else, even on the Reelz special who were concerned, knew they could say nothing and still have a job or the lifestyle he provided. He was "Yes To Death." Every time I see a headline of another rocker dead from excess - I'm fearful it will be Richie. He has admitted problems - once an addict/alcoholic always one. It's do or do not and the older someone is, the greater the risk that the damage is irreversible and harder to conceal. I miss the hell out of his A game and these shows, interviews and even finished products are no where close imo. |

Is there anything you miss about playing with Bon Jovi? You know, it was just time to just stop for a little bit... What happened is that, [being] in such a huge organization. Tours are 16-and-half months. The last tour I did with the band was 18-and-a-half months. You miss a lot of life, man. You come home: Shit changed. Divorce, birth, death, this. Normal life's ups and downs. Little tragedies. Love, joy. You miss all those things a lot of times in your incubation mode. Like I said, we weren't a band that took a lot of time off. My daughter needed me at that time; my dad's dying of cancer. I was in the middle of a shitty divorce, and I busted my shoulder up... And it was like, "You know, I think the universe is telling me to take a break for a while." What's strange is how mixed up the timeline is. The phrasing that his dad is dying of cancer, the divorce, the arm break all happened in 2006/2007ish. It's phrased as if that's when he left. |

As much as I want to have Richie back in the band, he doesn't really deserve as long as he spouts bullshit like this. He has to be more honest with the fans and stop pushing this narrative. The first time he says "I got bored, started drinking again and couldn't be arsed to keep touring, so I didn't show up" is when he can come back. |

If I were Jon, I'd be much more sick of reading how Richie left because he "needed to be with his daughter" nonsense. |
