Kick @$$ kickoff concert!

Yesterday was February 8th, the kick off for the US Bounce tour, and i was there! It was so amazing, that i think the human mind is too small to comprehend the greatness, and magnificance, the wonderfulness of the whole thing. It was unbelievable having your favorite artists up on stage!! It was wonderful!! They did TWO encores!! one encore was for the first encore!! They did have satelites on stage! And during their first song (Bounce) they stayed still, but as they started either their second or third song the satilite dishes moved, so the dish part was facing toward the crowd, showing the screen. It was the screen! So awesome! So freakin awesome!

The Goo Goo Dolls were wonderful, running all around the stage crazily. John Rzenik was funny, asking if anyone smoked anymore and taking out his lighter, and waving it around. He also said something to the extent of "I'm glad to be opening for Bon Jovi. There are a lot of girls here." or something to that extent.

Jon Bon Jovi was funny too, running around the stage doing a wonderful job getting the crowd pumped up. I think the first thing he said was something like "I'll be your professor this semester" or something like that. He also said some stuff that I think his wife wouldn't be too happy about. He was explaining something about fraternitys and sorititys or something, and saying the soroity girls always wanted a jock and not a skinny singer, but "it wasn't too late ladies". That was great. He almost took off his shirt TWICE, but didn't.

One of the best parts was when Richie lead sung "I'll be there for you". I thought i was in heaven when Jon announced Richie was going to sing!

I have pictures, but they are getting developed right now and i won't get them for a few hours. But once i do, i'll try to scan them in to show you. It was wonderful!

I'm probably forgetting something, and once i remember, i'll post it.

Thanks for the review!!!! OMG I can't wait to see the band!!! Thanks in advance for sharing your pics with us!!! :D

you're welcome. But i don't know how good the pictures are, because they were disposable cameras. and i think they intentionally lighted it a certain way that you couldn't take pictures at some times.

Not one mention of the lasers....have they been dropped?

I assume there is no pyro being used either.

can anybody give me some links to some photos

They used lasers, but no pyro. My sister was hoping for that. But there weren't any pyro things set up. But the lighting and lasers were so awesome.

Those cameras that they sell there are complete and utter shit! Don't buy them! DON'T!! It's a f*cking waste of $15 per camera!! I just got the pictures back and they didn't come out too well! They're all smokey and dark - and aren't showing the screens. The stage looks so f*cking far away then what we were so you can't even see the band memebers that well. It's complete shit. I'm angry and disappointed. :( But, hey, you can't win them all. So i'll just have to live with the fact that i bought 3 cameras and the best ones are complete shit. Oh well. I'm sorry i can't get any pictures. I didn't realize disposable cameras were such a piece of crap. If they would've come out nice, there would have been some nice pictures of them.

:( :(

Thanks for the review, sounds like it was a great show!! :D

About those disposable cameras... I have taken disposable cameras to shows before, and the pictures I've taken with them have turned out excellent. Did you use flash? Cause that could be the reason. Even if you had had a normal camera, but hadn't used a flash, it would've had the same outcome. Did your camera have a flash, or you just didn't use it? Also, did you buy the camera at the venue? Maybe they sell c**p cameras there on purpose?
