Amazing

I need to say this:
I was in the club today, sun, water and the music on the radio, a lot of remixes like Heaven and others, than, suddenly, I listened an acoustic guitars, than I thought: this could be a BJ song...........
It was incredible when I listened the first word : rainy...........night and we worked all day...........
That was the acoustic version of Born to be my baby !!! hoooo
I donīt know why the radio played this song, but this was the best song they ever played !
A great Jon/Richie vocal work !

Do you know when it was recorded ?

I can't remember. I did have it on an acoustic bootleg compilation. I love this version as well... when I first heard it I liked it as much as the origenal!!!!!

Thanks for reminding me this verison existed though, it's years since I've heard it. I'll be digging it out tonight and giving it a spin!

Was it live or a studio recording? The studio recording is a B-side of the Japanese Livin in Sin-Single. Live could either be from an American TV show from some time in the 80s or from Yokohama. But in Yokohama they sang it different than on the CD-single. The CD-single is more a duet than lead- and backing vocals. In Yokohama it was lead- and backing vocals as all other songs.

The version on the Single-CD is my all time fav acoustic version of a BJ-song. I absolutely love it.
