do u ever feel like this world is full of competition & u r just a pathetic looser..in my class there 60 students ...frankly at studious level my number will be 15-16..but those other 15 guys drive me crazy!!they r like robots...they just read,read & read..nothing else...when i get good marks..i see their report card & get upset..they r like THE CHAmps & I"m like a crap guy..teachers always take good care of thease guys & we"re like teacher"s charity cases...so my point is this is jungle..after graduation guys like this from each school get job letters & i am gonna end up having no JOB..... :?

In "real life" it's not always these hardworking read-read-read guys who make it... In real life, creativity, personality and character comes into play. So, don't panic and don't get overwhelmed by the more studious people, they don't necessarily get all the good positions later in life! You can always think that you have more going for you than those guys. Friendship, and life beyond school/work are very important, and these are valued even in the business world.

Grades aren't everything. Social skills play more of a role in the "real world." As long as you work hard, stand up for yourself, and stay true to yourself you will do fine. The "real world" is a b**ch sometimes, but somehow you always find a way to get through. Remember, after school, these guys won't have their teacher there to find them a job, they will be on their own. so don't worry, it sounds like you will be just fine.

Hey, I kind of know what you mean. I could bring Bon Jovi into this conversation. You see, just a few days back a teacher of mine told me that because the listenings of English didnīt go that well, I might not get Laudatur(Iīm right there on the border). Well, I thought of it, and it got me down for a while, but then I thought about it and said to myself: "I can do it". Theoreticly I could get Laudatur but itīs damn hard. But try think positively. When someone puts you down, donīt go down but try to suprise yourself and the ones who put you down. Listen to Jonīs speech in the live version of Dry County. Itīs hard sometimes but donīt let life get you down. I know I wonīt and I know that now she said I canīt get Laudatur, Iīm going to try twice as hard. Put 5000% to it. Iīm going to prove she is wrong! Everybodyīs a fighter deep inside and what she said woke up the fighter in me. All these years I always took the fact that I am very good in English as a self-evident truth but this woke me up, and Iīm glad of it.
I donīt know how much this was to you but I just couldnīt help myself. |
