Second Favourite
 

I know that at the moment the board is full of stuff for the new album and Everyday etc. so I thought this one may be a bit of a change.

For most of the people who use this board they will not pick Bon Jovi as their second favourite band but not all of us would pick Bon Jovi as our ultimate favourite band/artist, so I'm wondering who do you like most just under your favourite.

By the way, I picked Aerosmith!

Geez Bluesman, that was a toughie... LOTS of my fave bands there! ;) I voted for Bruce though since he's the closest second musical love of my life. I've got all of his records, the box set, live records and I can't wait to see the man & the band again this fall!! Aerosmith, Def Leppard, van Halen and The Beatles are some of my top ten bands, too.

For me Bon Jovi are a long way above everyone else, but if i had to choose my second favourite band it would be out of U2, Killing heidi, and the calling

My second favourite band would be between The Calling, Killing Heidi or TISM

My second band is ANGRA, I voted in the pool, This is the best heavy metal band of the world !!!!!!!!!!

I have never heard about this band Angra outside this board :!: Who are they, where do they come from?

ANGRA is a brazilian heavy metal band, One of the bests, in the same level of Iron Maden, with some love ballads too.(They sing in English)
They are very recognized in Japan, in Europe.
If you wanna, get some songs, they are in kazaa.
My favourites are: Bleeding Heart, Rebirth, Heroes of Sand, Carry On, Nova Era, Make believe........

I´d say Angra is much better than Iron Maiden, because every single guy on the band is a music teacher and their compositions are unbeatable. "Reaching Horizons", "Heroes Of Sand" and "Bleeding Heart" are great ballads and "Nova Era" and "Carry On" great fast and nice songs.

I love their last album Rebirth and also their new EP Hunters And Prey.

I mean, they´re a Brazilian heavy metal band which is unique for combining elements of our culture on some of the songs, mixing that with classical music and the very good old mellodic metal. Just so cool to listen to... :D
