Nice review. Seems like it was a very special day and well done to Liverpool.
And well done to the team to be in that position. 10 straight wins, that is close to incredible.

Incidentally, I am in Bucharest this weekend and was just walking aimlessly around the city, and got straight to that point from where the picture in your signature is taken. Took out my phone and took a snapshot and it looks pretty damn neat :P so here it goes. Not meaning to hi-jack the thread though. Just saw the signature and though I should post :P

Cheers mate. It was, really has been a great day. I still can't get too excited, though.
Yeah, 10 straight wins is brilliant. Another 4 will do nicely. :p

That's cool! Now all you need to do is the pose Jon is doing on it and it could be your sig?!

That is actually a great point! Let's see if I can get that done tomorrow :D

I went to the game today and that atmosphere was simply something else. I got to the ground about 11.30 to be with the fans outside to greet the team when they come in on the bus. I thought that it would be a few thousand fans but it was literally the whole stadium waiting outside for them. Was unbelievable.

Got into the stadium about 12:15 and had such a buzz as soon as I got in. Wasn't many people in their but to see so many flags being brought in and everything else just gave me a buzz.

From kick off we absolutely bossed it. Had so much control and our fans didn't stop singing. Deafening in all honesty. Never heard anything like it and it was just like the old Liverpool. Fantastic to go in 2 goals up and we fully deserved it. We could have been 4 or 5 up if it wasn't for poor finishing (mainly from Coutinho) and then a great save from Hart when Gerrard had the header.

At half time I was saying to an arl fella who was sat next to me that we need to get a third because if they score one, it is wide open and they are back in it. I was right. They got one and they were back in it. We looked pretty poor until they went to 2-2 and then we stepped it back up a bit. Coutinho was simply brilliant. His tackling for such a small guy was faultless. Didn't stop running.

When it was 2-2, I had a feeling we would get another. My girlfriend predicted 3-2 and I said 3-3 before kick off. I just had a feeling we would get a third. Thankfully we did and even though his finishing was poor in the first half, that was a fantastic finish from Coutinho. Didn't even look at the goal, just hit it first time bottom corner. Superb. Celebrations just blew me away.

Sterling is just class. Watched him from the u18's/u21's and loved him then. For his age, he makes such good runs and has a lot of confidence on the ball. I wish he would shoot more as we have a lot of openings for him to do that but he decides not too.

Gerrard's passion speaks for itself. The way he was crying at the end and that talk he gave in the huddle just proves how much he wants this. He hasn't got long left and knows that this could be his last chance because anything can happen next season or the season after that. We deserve to win it and he knows it.

Bit gutted with the Chelsea result as a loss or a draw would have been brilliant. Just hope we beat Norwich now and take it to Anfield against Chelsea. We really need to keep it up. Didn't expect us to be in this position at all.

Glad you had a great time, man. My brother came up from down south as he was offered 3 season tickets for this game. He took his half brother and 5 year old son to his first ever Liverpool game. What a way to watch your first game - the little fella was made up and got interviewed on Sky Sports News! Huge huge couple of games. Its mental that you're still top, but completely deserved. Never seen so much passion from LFC and every fan (bar City, Chelsea, Utd and a few bitter blues) wants you to win this. Its the most capitulating conclusion to a Premier League in its history, in my opinion. No-one expected you within a sniff and to even finish in the top 4 would have been a massive achievement.

I've been a Liverpool fan for almost all my life, I care more about them than about River Plate, the team of my country that I follow. Hope they'll win the Premier, I've never saw them win a league title as I was born in 1993 and they need to show why they're the biggest team in England.

Cheers mate! What a first game to go too! Hopefully he remembers it for a long time.

I know, a lot of teams seem to want us to win the league which is mental. A slip up v Norwich and it could be out of our hands. It really is mad how close it is but I just want us to keep going. Only 4 more games. We can do it.

Gutted that Hendo is out for 3 games and it looked like Sturridge could miss a couple.

Chelsea bar Lfc have a very easy run in.

If LFC beat Norwich and then Chelsea I think we (LFC) will win it.

Its been too long since we won it and we deserve it.

Liverpool could very well do it, with the form they're in I can't see them slipping up in their easier games (though the defence isn't as solid as it should be). The Chelsea game is absolutely enormous, obviously. I've never been particularly keen on Liverpool but always like Gerrard and it'd be great to see him get to win the league after remaining so loyal over so many years when he could have moved away for (almost) guaranteed success.

Speaking from experience it will only get harder for Pool from here on in. Granted no one expected them to win the league this year, but now they have it in their own hands the pressure will build.
Pressure can do strange things to people, how they react to it is what counts. The young players Sterling,Coutinho etc know no fear being so inexperienced and that may prove to be an advantage. That said Chelsea have experience in spades and that could be a deciding factor.
Norwich and Chelsea are games that I think Pool will win comfortably, the banana skin game for me is Palace away.Pulis has them set up to stifle teams and play on the break and they dont concede many.
I work with Pool season ticket holders and a couple of them have been in to work today with bruises all over their shins and sore throats, its pretty wild on the Kop so they told me.
As a neutral it would be great to see Gerrard lift the trophy,at times during his career he has carried the team on his back.

Yeah, it will. That's why I am not getting carried away because I agree that Palace could be a tough one. A very tough one. Their home form is pretty decent and Pulis knows the game and is a decent manager when he wants to be.
