So...what we thinking? another tour or not?
Hey all
Things seem a bit slow so thought id ask what you all think, do you think there will be another Jovi tour? or do we think thats it? I am edging towards thinking that maybe we wont see them anymore as a whole band.. |
I think it'll be awhile until anything band related happens and then it will be a hyped reunion tour.

Once Richie is finished with his solo stuff and gets it all out of his system. I say 3 years. I think Richie hates Jon at this point but for money, they will find a way to get it done.

I really hope Richie does come back into the fold at some point..would be a shame if this tour was the last, given all its problems etc. Be nice to see them go out on one last world tour...with Richie. |

Speaking in terms of touring the US, I think they will feel the pressure to tour again and collect the bucks that the promoters are going to be willing to throw at them since they are considered a top tier touring band and a "for sure" on a good ticket draw. |

I'm pretty sure Richie will release his next solo album in autumn after his tour. And then he is touring again next year cause that's what he likes to do.
And what comes to Bon Jovi, they will announce their new guitarist at the end of this year, release their next album in 2015 and tour in 2015/2016 |

But alright, because you so clearly want to hear what I've got to say; We're living in a time where Eagles have taken Bernie Leadon with them on tour, and would have taken Randy Meisner as well if his health would have permitted it. Fleetwood Mac have regrouped, even with Christine McVie and will tour again. The Rolling Stones have Mick Taylor with them this tour. Kiss have done many reunion tours up to the point where they just started touring because they seemed to be enjoying it again. The Police and Genesis have done reunion tours and on top of that there's all the boy and girlbands that reunite every few years for a couple of shows. Yet when Bon Jovi, a multi, multi million dollar organisation, one of the biggest touring acts in the world, have a little spat, people seem to think this'll be the end. It's remarkable how people stop using common sense and over dramatize things based upon nothing but their own fears, if that's what it is? This band will reunite in one way or the other. The only reason they're not touring and recording right now is because of one album cycle coming a few years too soon, and a lead guitarist trying to catch up on all he lost when he was out boozing. They'll be back. But feel free to create more drama and pretend the last tour was where it ended. Because that makes so much more sense. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |
