Kid raising money for cancer research--update Jon showed up!

He wants to get Jon to come to his event. I hope Jon will hear about it and attend.

I hope so too.Poor kid...i feel so bad when i hear that kids have untreatable cancers and inoperable tumors or other fatal diseases that can't be treated.I really hope that one day technology and medicine will evolve so much that cancers and tumors will be a minor problem

I think that if i'd have a dying wish it would be to get the band together and play a show and include some rare songs and demos that I really like,join Jon on stage during LOAP or Dead or Alive...I think i'd die the happiest man if that came true

Fingers crossed Jon does this. It was a great story when he showed at that Vegas wedding. This would be so much better. I know there is a risk that he'll be bombarded with requests if he does this sort of thing but Jon is a very fortunate man who has been afforded a life where he wants for nothing through the people who buy his albums and go to the shows (and because of his talent to be fair).

Having a young kid myself makes it hard to think of stories like this. Would love if Jon did the right thing.

If Jon hears about (and my guess is he will), I would bet money he'll show up. Say whatever we want about his voice or business practices, the guy cares a lot about his community and does care for his fans. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't show.

Such a courageous little boy..I hope he gets his wish!!

If he's unable to show due to some sort of other commitments, I would bet he would at the very least show some kind of gesture to the event and express that he's sorry he couldn't make it....

Maybe since there's no tour this year, Jon will be free to attend. I'm really pulling for the kid to get his wish!
