And I just can repeat what danfan said: "I'd pay the full price of the CD to hear the original version cleaned up."

Seriously, I think if someone can spend the time to do it perfectly, they open up a paypal account and we all give them $5.00.

My guess is that they were removed because they were badly off key, as they were in the demo. Sounded really forced. But then again, might just be that Jon just didn't sing them on the take Obie used, as there are a lot of other vocal bits missing as well.

Ice

I was mistaken. It wasn't the "I know"'s I had a problem with. It was the "Does anybody ever give their heart to somebody." That always sounded odd to me.

Why is that? It sounds perfect to me, as well as the "I know"s... Surely forced, maybe, but on key and fitting to the song...

As far as I know, Ozzy Osbourne replaced the bass lines of some albums so he didn't had to pay royalties to a former member of his band. If the re-recorded the bass and removed the chorus, they wouldn't have to pay nothing at all.

Still, I don't think that it's the case of this album. Probably Obie it's too retarded to realize that the other version it's better or Jon didn't liked something on it; or maybe, as it was said, that high quality demo was lost or in poor quality to be released.

After listening closely, I'd bet anything that Lets Make It Baby started out as Lets Make A Baby

I still stand by there are a lot of different takes of everything and the one we got wasn't supposed to be ours to begin with. We're just used to it.

Yep. I do not think it be royalties. Why the hell is not the guitar solo?
