Have a Nice Day DualDisc question
I just recently got the HAND DualDisc, and I've got a question for anyone else that has it. I put the DVD side in, and went in to the "Videos" section. It shows Have a Nice Day Music Video, Bon Jovi EPK, and a few songs live from Atlantic City (Everyday, Miss Fourth of July, I Get a Rush, These Arms Are Open All Night, Radio)
I just pressed "Play all" because I wanted to watch all in a row, but it only played the Atlantic City songs then went back to the main menu. So I pressed HAND music video and then it played the Atlantic City songs. Pressed Bon Jovi EPK, same thing. Nothing else works on the DVD side except for the Atlantic City songs... Is anyone else's like this? Is it an error with all of them (mislabeled or something) or do I just have a faulty disc? |
I've actually never checked, i will do when i get a chance.

Can i just say that i love the idea of 5.1 albums but Obie didnt play too much with the mix if i remember right (havent heard it for ages). On Novocaine, it was crying out for Jons ramblings at the end of the track to be higher in the mix IMO and maybe just out of the rear speakers to give it more effect.
I did ask Obie about this when Jovi.com did the AskObie section and he replied saying he'd love to do more 5.1 as he was passionate about that kinda stuff but there wasnt enough time in the day. |
I might try and dig that one out, havent looked at it for ages.
Might try and get the extended versions from the Slippery DD up to google play rather than failing to rip them. |
You must have a faulty disc. Mine plays the EPK and the HAND video as well as the live songs....

I am sure HAND 5.1 was a rush job compared to the SWW disc. The Slippery disc is much better, not sure if Obie had any involvement.

Will it play in 5.1 surround on my standard DVD player..........?
