Richie Interview
Apologies if a repeat but Richie has a few digs at the BON JOVI machine, if the translation is anything to go by.......interesting what he says about WAN

The google translation doesn't seem to be too far off... questionable grammar aside. He says he never really quit, that WAN was unfinished, that touring takes time, writing and producing (funny he doesn't mention recording) albums takes time, and that solo, he gets to have breaks whenever he wants to.
He also says that if BJ and him were to reunite, it'd be great, but would be very different. |
"If Bon Jovi and I get back together in the future, it will be great - but different."
That's what all the fans expect, a change. "I also found that the new album in the short time had not yet been properly done. It could definitely needs more work." The results are obvious, WAN needed more working time. "Anyway, these two tours were the greatest in rock history alongside the Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead. One wonders at some point: what counts more - personal happiness and family, or even more money?" Richie perhaps chose the correct option, but damn, you should have warned a few weeks before, for find a replacement in time. Still, I forgive you Richie. |
Richie has just been called "The nicest man in the business" by Darren Reddick on Planet Rock........

"But you have to imagine: the last Bon Jovi tour went over 18 months by 52 countries. The Tour before 14 months by 47 countries. In addition, I'm the guy who writes the songs and the album co-produced. And then cost the nine months that lay between."
