I'm guessing the pic was taken roughly around May 18, when Phil posted pics of Dave's rig and a talkbox in Instagram.

I love how Richie is comparing those two to the legendary act Sony and Cher... How corny is that??? I hope they plan on using some studio trickery because what I've seen live so far is absolutely dreadful.

The only positive is, as far as the pics and updates with the recording process, he's doing and using who I would want Jon to use...

So, does this mean we're going to get another statement from Jon saying, "The record's done..."?

I could go along with some of the explanations here that when Jon said "done" in the Q&As he could have meant that he was finished recording, or they just had to mix it or record Phil's guitar, or whatever. But I would have thought that the big announcement with a Bergman photo and everything would have meant that it was truly DONE, as in "finished".

Someday I'd really like to talk with Jon about his definition of the word "done". :D

Why does a photo of Tico in the studio indicate the album is not done though? Listening to a mix is probably more likely than adding drums that far after the fact.
