Speaking of such, anyone else notice that they used a picture of Jon with dark hair this time. Last time it was a blond pic, now a dark pic (it's the Just For Men look)... Someone should twitter Matt and let him know that Jon now has grey hair and people accept the qtip look

Good sources says that on this picture he is listening songs for new Richie and Orianthi album. He's something like Pizza Jury. Doc McGhee and Bob Rock send all stuff to their friends to judge what should be on album or what should be only b-sides.

The record company change may have played some part in the delay from Sex Sells in 1999 to Crush in mid-2000, the record company may have wanted a "Hit", brought Max Martin in and there was IML.

Some people are so hell bent on having Jon write 100% of everything but imo, the writing it just half the battle... Having the artist deliver the vocal, passion, and, right production is the other half... You can't just give a song to anyone and expect it to be an instant hit... The song and artist has to be one... If the record company handed Jon a song to do in hopes of a hit, that wouldn't bother me in the least, especially if it did become a hit...

In a reverse sense, there are so many Jovi songs that I think could have been huge hits if sung by other artists...
