Sweet story angelsambo! Thanks for sharing. Glad you got to experience thanks.

I wanted to share more details about yesterday's brief encounter with JBJ.

I had dropped the amp off at 8 am at the video shoot location and left it with SIR (rental company) since Phil X was running 2 hours late. I was hoping to watch some of the shoot but not badly enough that I wanted to blow most of my day sitting in my car lol.

So I went home and hung out at my house. I ended up falling asleep poolside in my backyard. I open my eyes and get the text that they are done with the amp.

I jump in my car and make it to the location which is a historical mansion on the north shore of Long Island.

I didn't really expect much as I pulled up to the mansion. There were maybe one or two people shuffling around. I figured it was a wrap and that I would simply get my amp and go home.

So, I pull up to the mansion. There are concrete walls in front of a U-shaped driveway. I pull straight in and see Phil. I hop out and Phil is super nice and thanks me for helping out etc. We started talking amps. I told him about the updated BE100 and showed him a pic of the "amp wall." He started asking some questions. "Why do you have 5 Camerons"? Lmao.

So anyway, while talking to Phil I glance to my left and Jon Bon Jovi is sitting right here in a chair taking in the sun, totally lounging. I didn't see him initially bc it never occurred to me he would be BEHIND me lol. Anyway, I totally go into holy shit mode and Phil gives me the "don't disturb the man" look which I totally respected but then...

JBJ takes off his glasses, smiles, and stands up. As soon as we made eye contact, I couldn't help myself lol

I used the moment to tell him that I am a huge fan. That I have all the albums and most importantly that his music has been with me through my whole life. I thanked him for all of the amazing music. I was totally in awe that JBJ was right there listening to me gush like an idiot lol. Anyway, he thanked me and said something to the effect that it was very nice of me to say that.

Then the production assistant ushered Jon away as they were set to film at the next location.

Phil hung out for a bit more. Thanked me again. He later texts me and asks if it was OK to thank me on Instagram. Let me say, he is the epitome of nice. I can't say enough about how gracious he was.

So, that's my story.

Let me end by saying, like many of you, we grew up when rockstars were larger than life. When music mattered! Meeting Jon, being able to say what I did made me feel like a little kid. Reminded me of my love for music and for the guitar. I will never forget this experience.

Thank you for sharing this - when I first started reading I thought it was going to be one of the fan fiction stories... What a great day for you - I'm jealous.

This Thread should be retitled to "The NON Bon Jovi Album: This House Is Not For Sale (2016). If you are coming here for the first time, there is 162 pages of nothing. When this album drops or when the first single hits, we should start over with a clean slate with real information like what was done with Burning Bridges...

We could update the first post with info as it comes. Does that work for everyone?

Sounds like a good idea to me. I think everyone here is getting a little curious and excited about the new single and video coming soon. Does anyone here think that the new video will premiere on any music channels or would it just go straight to Bon Jovi's YouTube channel?

Yes, it's a good solution but have one problem! The *real* discussion about the new album would start in page 162+ instead of page 1. We can mention somewhere in the first post "Discussion after the release starts in page X".

I don't know if this should be on here or not but has anybody noticed that on their Facebook page they list Phil X under Band members? Gotta feel a little bit for Hugh. I think we are witnessing discrimination of the bald....
