WAN isn't a bad album if you go song by song. The problem is, it doesn't have any moments, like those 1 or 2 special go to songs... Take out your 2 worst songs and replace them with your 2 best songs from Burning Bridges, keep the remaining 10, and you could have an amazing album...

100 percent agreed. I like it, its fine, the production is terrible. A few songs I really like, a few I tend to skip, nothing I outright hate.

Just saw this - if someone posted prior and I missed it - sorry. Seems the T is for Tony.

Finally got to hear the record today. I am very excited! So good I'm coming out of retirement to direct the tour. -T #ThisHouseIsNotForSale

Correct, T = Tony = Anthony Bongiovi

The only way you could make WAN an amazing album is to replace every song other than "I'm With You" :D

I have to agree. I like WAN. Always have since I first heard it. It's nothing mind blowing, but an album with 5-6 songs I listen to regularly today (mainly Water Made Me, Beautiful World, I'm With You, Into the Echo, Because We Can and Pictures of You) is a good album for me. I actually prefer it to The Circle now.

I'm still a tad underwhelmed by the THINFS snippet, but Im still hopeful. I wonder if iTunes Australia will get it on our Friday, rather than our Saturday (America's Friday). Usually we get it before everyone else and I hope that's the same this time around!

I gotta say I'm looking forward to the coming months of music. Butch Walker has a new album out on August 26 that is sounding KILLER!! Bon Jovi hopefully follows very soon after, then Metallica I've read mentioned, then the good old Richie will hopefully get his album out before the end of the year! Hopefully this album marks a change within the band, there seems to be a shift going around musically speaking, bands are finding different sounds and evolving in a different way, I'd hate for Bon Jovi to be late for that shift. Butch has a cool thing going now for example, almost like a Springsteen vibe to his new album (which I love), and some very emotional and nostalgic lyrics. Maybe Jon doesn't want to do that, it would just be cool to see that side of the band shine through on a few tunes at least....

I'm having trouble relating to the single because I'm not a stone mason nor a carpenter...

Dude, Stay Gold will be the album of the year, guarantee it. I need "Can we just not talk about last night" in full.

Wha?! There are samples available for the entire album?!! I've heard the 5 songs he's released so far, they all sound freaking awesome! I have 'Wilder in the Heart' on repeat. And I don't want to derail the thread anymore but, where are the snippets available? Checked amazon but not there....
