The Circle was .....OK, but do not do it again. What About Now was make it again, but worse.
Despite not being a great album, The Circle is a guilty pleasure for me.

I liked The Circle. Was a different sound to anything they'd done before. Having said that, it was a strong post 2000 Bon Jovi album, in the grand scheme of music, and the full Bon Jovi catalogue, its mediocre at best.

I gotta agree with this. When The Circle came out it was exactly what spoke to me at that point in my life. That being said - it didn't stand the test of time as well it did for you, but I still appreciate most of the songs a lot.

I think we have had this discussion previously. Many of us "older" people loved The Circle and most of the younger people pretty much hated it. It has stood the test of time for me but perhaps that is due to all the great memories I have of "get togethers" from 2010 and 2011 :)

I'm an "old" fan, but I don't like it at all. I did enjoy the tour though because by the time I saw them most of The Circle songs had been dropped. The shows I saw were with Phil X and I thought they had a great energy about them.

I like The Circle. I definitely prefer HAND over it, though, which is easily my favourite post-2000 album by the band. Bounce too, although that's more for personal reasons I guess. It's a much better album than WAN, and personally, I think it's MUCH better than LH as well.

Song-wise, I think it's better than Crush also, but the performances and arrangements are a lot less exciting, so it's pretty close as far as albums go. The song it's the most obvious to me was Bullet - with proper performances and arrangement, the song could've been killer. As it is, it's just good.

Seriously ?, The Tour 2010 and Summer 2011 was fantastic. The worst thing about Circle tour was the leg from January to May 2011.

Well, I didn't get to GO to those shows because they weren't within my area/schedule/budget. I got to go to the shows that Phil was playing. You can't fault me for enjoying GREAT shows. Were you in Atlanta and Memphis? No, you weren't, so you can't judge those shows. I thought they were AMAZING shows. I don't see how you can say that any leg of the tour was the "worst" unless you actually WENT to shows on every leg of the tour. You can't judge an experience based on a youtube video. That was the last time I saw the band. I haven't seen Richie with the band since the previous tour.

Look at a map and you'll see I'm in an area that is pretty geographically challenging for a Bon Jovi fan who has to work for a living. The closest show to me is usually at least a minimum of a 6-8 hour one-way drive away. That Memphis show was the closest they had come to me in decades and a city they had not played since 1989.

Ok, and I respect that. But I do not think it's the best performance Jovi on the circle tour. I was in Barcelona Show 2011, and it was awesome.
