Geographically challenging, a couple of hours DRIVE? Give me a break! I have to fly every time I want to go to a concert/show of any more magnitude than a local band. So what? Just get on a plane and enjoy the show. Or for that matter, if I want to get to show outside of Sweden I need two flights to get there (such as London, Munich, Helsinki or wherever). Again, so what? And yes, I work for a living. If I could drive to a show, that'd be great.

I only get two personal days a year with my job, so any one concert uses both of them, whether I fly or drive. Also, I don't make crap working for the state of MS, so I can't afford to fly to shows. For the hell of it, I just looked up a random flight from Jackson to Atlanta, one of the very few airports you can get a direct flight from out of Jackson: with 5 weeks notice, which is reasonable, a week day flight, non-first class, before checking a bag, it is almost $800. Add to that the price of a concert ticket, the price of a hotel, and I'm spending at least $1500+ for a single concert before I even buy a tour program or have a meal. If I went anywhere other than Atlanta, Dallas, or Houston, I'd have to take multiple flights as well because the Jackson airport doesn't have flights to any other cities anymore.

Maybe the bigger challenge is the financial aspect than the geographical aspect, but the fact is, I can't go to a lot of shows every tour. I'm doing well to get to ONE, so I don't appreciate being told that a show I enjoyed was among the worst of the tour by someone who didn't see it and can't judge it.

Yeah...Or...You could've driven to Dallas in 2010, which had two shows, one on a saturday, meaning you could do a 7 hour drive, then see the show, go back on Sunday, and do it all for about 300, maybe 400 dollars all in.

I'm quite positive there's people on here who have spend a lot more to see 1 show than 400 dollars. I know I did, and that's back when I made **** all and didn't have a full time job. You are geographically challenged, but using it as an excuse for not seeing a show is nonsense.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

14h and 400$ is not nonsense, I never have and never will spend that much time and money just to see one show.

I don't remember when the shows were announced, but I'm sure there was a reason I didn't go to Dallas. I've never seen Bon Jovi in Texas so I would like to cross that off my list. Maybe those shows were announced after I already had tickets for Atlanta and Memphis? Maybe it didn't fit into the schedules for the people I was traveling with? It's a dream to think you can can go to Dallas for $400. Convenient, safe hotel rooms cost a fortune. I'm not familiar with the Dallas area hotels/arena, but I know what they run in Atlanta and I imagine they're no different in Dallas. We would have spent at least $150-200 on gas as well. Then the concert tickets...

But this is pretty irrelevant to the subject of the NEW Bon Jovi album.

And who knows how reliable that is, though I wouldn't mind it if Phil was on the new album.

I don't trust it. Phil tweets everything he does within the music world. And not a peep about recording with the band. Though seeing as how the Bon Jovi organization is, he could have just been asked to keep quiet any social media talk about recording with them, so while I don't trust it it's not impossible.....

He might be brought in to overlay some guitar leads being that he is the one who will be playing them live. Shank, Jon, Bobby, Whoever will write the parts and Phil will come in and make them his own. Just my best guess.
