It's a joke. And it's probably true anyway! LOL I'm not offended in the slightest.

Jon has always aspired to be more than just a lame rock star. Songwriting is his passion, but it's also his foot in the door to making a difference in other people's lives. That's one reason his songs are usually uplifting. Like he said back in 1992, "There's more to say than, 'The world sucks.'"

Well, everybody who didn't die a virgin bride has had failed relationships, so I think the whole line of reasoning, "your previous relationships failed, why should this be any different?!?" rather cynic the first time around. I wouldn't wish that on anybody, to be unable to ever maintain a relationship.
