I read the last posts here.. What can you people write for a crap?! Man, facepalm after facepalm
I shouldn´t read so much online anymore. It all makes me sick. So many dumb comments:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Many users may just have a more realistic and objective approach to the topics than you do. The times where everything was golden and glory are gone for most us.
It's nice that it's still that way for you, but other opinions can be just as valid :p

You probably shouldn't. And I am not trying to offend you.

The quality of the band's output (in studio and in concerts) is to some extent subjective, but are fairly easy to assess, especially when it comes to Jon's vocals.

It's okay to have different opinions and express them, but if reading different opinions depresses you, I suggest investing your time in something else.

An album sounding like NJ would do me! Who am I kidding!

Even thought Jon and Richie are apparently on good terms, I think Richie will eventually return to Bon Jovi but I think he wants to record his album with Ori and tour. That will serve that creative itch. If Richie does released the album next year, I recon he'll return in 2018.

What makes you think that they are on good terms??? well let's start with this, define good terms...

At this point, I think it's more of a Jon decision. If Jon could still put up the same numbers without Richie, why bring him back??? Forget the fact that he bailed mid tour and bashed the band in certain interviews by making fun of Runaway etc... The dude is a loose cannon... I think Jon will always cherish his days with Richie and I'm sure they will share a stage together again one day but I think Jon sees Richie as a liability...

Bon Jovi will never be what they were back in the day, with or without Richie...
As these guys age, things continue to shift... from priorities, to how records are made, to the overall industry ... these aren't 28 year old kids looking to take over the world anymore... these are artists looking to continue a legacy and let out their talents... Just doing what they were born to do... Jon loves to write and make records. He hates touring but that's his main source of income so he has to do it... He hates interviews and videos but it promotes the album which promotes the tour so he has to do it...

I don't mean to burst your bubble but I don't see Richie coming back anytime soon... I don't think Jon misses him....more money for Jon too bty

Yeah, I know Jon harps on about the working man and his social consciousness but why not try singing about cowboys and parties again?

Sure he doesn't want to be 'nostalgia act' and he says he can't rewrite slippery or NJ but why not have a go given the quality of the bands recent output (bar a few songs on Burning bridges). Jon might even actually enjoy it!

There are plenty of examples of bands abandoning a type of music they were famous for, returning years later and producing a good album. Kiss's Sonic boom, Def leps Euphoria.

This is why I dislike those songs. Creed sucks.

Those two albums are stellar. I wish more bands would go back to their roots and release albums in the style of their most popular outputs. No need to be ashamed of those records that made you big. What bands need to be ashamed of is the inability to make records reminiscent to their big records. Success for classic rock bands is not guaranteed, we all know that. But why don't they do why they did best. Evolving and growing with times are ****ing overrated in music.

Couldn't disagree more. AC/DC are the exception, not the rule. Other bands that follow this path see their venues shrink year after year. Ones that don't are ones that evolved over times.
