I like the looks of it but 10 seconds is waaaaay too short for me to form and opinion!

ROLO, What do you expect? A SWW, NJ, KTF and TD? We all love for that to happen, but Jon can't sing like that anymore. A HAND/TC/BB combination is best we can hope for until the end. THINFS isn't groundbreaking but that's because that's jon's limit of how he can sing nowadays. Still THINFS Sounds like not a WAN 2 which we all agree is a relief!

Jon was saying it was a return to the roots, it was a big rock, bla bla bla. I expected a song with more claw like We Dont Run, or something like Jovi brand Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning in the worst case.

I did not expect a SWW or These Days, but neither did expect this thing with generic sound that could be a Roman song.

Sorry for being annoying! It's just What do fans expect with a shot voice and being 54? Long as WAN type Albums don't come along I'm happy!

There is a little chatter on social media about the red X - and I kind of think it may be a subtle way to build up what is new for the band. It does Not mean they are putting down RS - just this is now. Didn't PhilX just get a new red X tatoo?

He explained his tattoos are the names of his kids (his wife had a kid before they met so he now has 3). He's got a black X for his son Xavier and the red star is for Scarlett. No new red X tattoo as far as I know.

You're judging the entire album on the vibe you're getting from ten seconds of the lead single, which is always the most commercial side of the whole thing. You're a broken record and absolutely asking for the sky. Jon didn't say the first single was a return to roots, he said the whole album was. And the lines the promo team has used for each album has been similar and people have hated it then too. People should unplug themselves from the promo machine and listen to it for themselves instead of waiting for the band to fail so they can call Jon a liar.

Not so, I'm just saying that gives the impression that it will not be very different from their latest releases.

I'm just thankful for new stuff from a band I fell in love with at 13. (Now 41)
I'm stuck in 80s/90s when it comes to jovi but I accept the best days are probably gone. Let's hope this album is a pleasant surprise. But let's wait for it before opinions and not judge on 15 seconds or even the full song when out. There's probably another 11 new songs to hear before we judge

Jon said back to the roots referring to recover the habit of having the whole band together in the studio while recording the album,instead of the last albums habits of recording each one parts without being together in the studio.

If the 15 seconds teaser is bad, you should wait for the full song BUT if you find the full song poor then you should wait the full album.

I suppose that bad impressions are not welcome but the good ones are taken as something more accurate. Same 15 seconds.

True. but is he in the band? I have no problem with the John Shanks "guitar player" work, I was impressed in WWYFF and Fingerprints, but I do not like as producer, I do not like their sound.

Stop saying 15, it's 10. The video is 15, we have the first line of the chorus. I totally agree, if we can't take it's bad we also can't take it's good. Obviously this board is here for everyone's opinions but you've twisted Jon's words and misunderstood him completely in order to back up your claim of the album sucking. All we ask is people give it time. Judge the song when you hear the song. You're going crazy complaining about the lack of guitars and we haven't heard one iota of a guitar solo because it's been ten seconds. What if the solo blows you away? You don't even know if it has one.

A song with guitars is not just the guitar solo, in those "10 seconds", the guitars are inaudible because the mix is poor.

This is only an impression, IMO. You not take beyond what is my opinion, my first impressions. Who knows, maybe, Friday I really like the new single when is out in full.

Inaudible? Come on, you can hear them just fine. Your opinion is your opinion, okay. Your opinion is reaching through to judge the album in full. We're going in circles and I don't want to keep arguing about this. I have to stop.

Let's all remember how "meh" Who Would You Die For sounded on the sample. It was only the first verse. When the whole song came out we named it one of the best songs of BB.

I would say that it depends on how the reaction is to THINFS.

No. It may leak earlier but it'll most likely be launched in October.
