They are doing it right, actually. If you have a high audience, you should keep it as long as possible.

I really like the "I'm coming home" line & melody. Somehow the intro reminds me of a Springsteen song but can't put my finger on it - Glory Days?
Overall it's good (after a first listen anyway), in the same vein of the 'not giving up' vein of what they did before.
Way better than Because We Can, and clearly sounding like We Don't Run.
Angry sounding Jon, in a voice register that he'll be able to reproduce live. I do hear some autotune though, hope the whole thing is not too processed and that he really has a shot voice.
I like the solo, wished it would have went on for a few more measures but I understand radio needs.

Rather underwhelmed by it.

Really good first single, first single since HAND that has really got me wanting to play to my mates. Just found myself grinning throughout. Is it perfect? no but is it better than what we have had YES. Production seems less digital, does feel like a band playing, there is an rocky edge too it. It's refreshing to have a song that means something to Jon, hopefully that translates into some good live performances. I have been so worried that this album would be WAN part 2 and be the death kneel of the band I love. Now I'm excited to hear more... PS can I have an MP3???

I like it..
I like that HAND intro and chords..
I like the solo..
I like the melody and back vocals..

I didn't get goose bumps yet, maybe I will after I hear it a few more times, and see the lyrics, but I suppose that's the best they can make at this stage of their careers - so I'll take it with open arms!

And looking forward to the album!
