"P.s - and the leftovers tracks have Richie's parts stripped out and replaced by Shanks"

What sense does one song as Nothing, if Jon delete work of Richie on guitars / vocals?

From the way this sounds, I don't think we are getting anything prior to '07.

Based on all the information we've heard so far, It's my assumption that they collected a dozen or so tracks and had them Reworked/ Remixed and Mastered hence the reason why they are calling this a "New Album". They are no longer demos and this isn't a Box Set. They are mastered tracks regardless of when they were written and if this is "An Album" it's most likely One Disc.

I think there were just some extra tracks from the past few, 3, albums that Shanks produced and that's the album. The reason why both Beautiful Day and Reunion are included (according to sources) was because maybe, they needed to fill some space due to the limited amount of material they actually do have as well. Like I stated in my prior post, this is a JBJ / J Shanks Album.

I hope I'm wrong and we actually get two discs. One of what I stated above and another of older songs from the vault but I don't think that's happening right now for this project. Don't forget, if they empty the vault now, there will be nothing left for future projects.

The good news is, this catches us up with unreleased material and it also leaves me feeling positive about the new album coming in 2016. As much as I dig Beautiful Day and Sat Morning they sound like everything else the band has done from this past 15 years. If it was 1999 and I heard both these songs for the first time, I'd probably like them a lot more but how many times can you rehash the same Sound and Lyrics. Enough already Jon. New Sounds and New Producers are in order.

One last thing is this mystery Nickelback producer. Where does he fit? Was he hired to remove Sambora from this Fan Album and remix it? or is he actually producing the 2016 album? I guess we'll find out shortly.

Glad to see this all make sense now...After I though about it, Hugh's interview was just a month ago and he said that he just left the studio so I knew there was no way they could have that studio out by the end of August. Mystery solved now. Excited!!!!

I would like to hear Jon's version of "Burn With Me"

Yep! Releasing a song co-written by Richie but deleting all his sound traces from it is really twisted!

The German-speaking press isn't sure the "fan album" will be released in Europe either:

This could be a good thing though and a direction for us to get more types of these releases. If the album is on i-tunes and internet only, it's pure profit. Once they start the distribution process of a physical disc, it will result in an instant loss, especially for a die-hard only album.

Could it be that this will just be released in the areas that the band are gonna be touring in? We all no how Jon likes to tour to promote a release, didn't they do it once before with a "greatest hits" compilation? Released in Japan only wasn't it?

In Spain is playing "Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning" on several different radio stations.

Maybe but if WAN barely sold a million copies WW,how do you think a "Fan Album" will sell with no promotion in the US or UK?

Yep, was called Tokyo Road. A greatest hits compilation in 2001 released only Japan. It sold pretty well going 2xPlatinum.

Still, doesnt make sense debuting a song on European radio, just to be released in Asia.

Yesterday several fansites were talking about an album that would be released just before the Asian/Israel mini-tour, that's why I said it would be selling like hot-cakes: for example, in Jakarta fans are selling their belongings to have the money for concert tickets, so BJ are sure they'll sell ANY new record they'll release in the countries the Fall tour will hit. And calling it "a fan album" + making it a special release for the countries of the Fall tour make it even more special and attractive.

What is the magic word again? Oh yes! MARKETING.

A world premiere on a European radio seems weird indeed, but not that much, come to think about it. As somebody here pointed out yesterday (sorry, I forgot your moniker... or was it "Summer"?), BJ's Euro market is Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, UK/Ireland and I'll add Scandinavia. So my guess is that the new single will be released everywhere and, according to the sales figures, they'll decide whether it's worth releasing it in the USA and Europe as a CD or just on iTunes & Co.

That is most definitely not the line :p

Yeah, I realized after hearing some of the tracks posted throughout the day yesterday there are several mistakes in what I thought I heard. So I deleted it until I get a chance to rework it. That line didn't make sense with anything I thought I was hearing. Can you understand what he's saying?
