Official September 28, 2015, TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall, Taipei, Taiwan Thread

Aloha !

Predictions, disappointments, reviews and rants about this show go in this topic.

This show has been cancelled due to a typhoon hitting the country on show day.

The last time Bon Jovi played Taipei was on April 28, 1995. The setlist is unknown. I am aware there is one listed on setlist.fm but it's false and made up by some fanatic who started creating fake setlists for every missing show. He's done that for pretty much every show of the 1993 tours.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Those who purchased tickets to the Monday concert can try to exchange their tickets for ones to the Tuesday concert, or get a refund...

It's expected to make landfall Monday night? Maybe it would be smarter to cancel both shows and get out now. It would be a shame to have to cancel the last two gigs because the storm socked them in.

If not, they should count their blessings because it's a chance to rest Jon's voice. Here's hoping they can fly out on Wednesday -- and chalk up another win (or is it pin?) for Richie's voodoo doll!

I think China sent the Typhoon. They have the technology, you know.

I'm starting to think that the maldición del ricardo that Old Joysey was talking about is true. The bad luck this band is having lately is unbelievable!

You interpret every little thing Jon does negatively. That could have just as easily been a "Go ahead and see the people" gesture. Does he remind you a former boss? Ex boyfriend? Abusive parent?

Yeah, it's not a "You go stand there" gesture at all. The band were walking out and Jon told them to go pose and sign things for the fans. It's a bit odd to see him telling them whether they're signing things or not, but rocknation's conclusion's just odd. Again.

Yeah, but Jon could just as easily could have moved over himself. If he'd wanted to be in middle when they were photographed, he should have walked out second, not first. Besides, after thirty years, you'd think they'd have all that figured out by now!

And you're partially right: My father played in a big band in the Fifties, and he'd talk about how you would be fined if your tie was crooked or your shoes weren't shined. He wasn't crazy about the Beatles' hair, but at least their suits matched (in the beginning, at least). So you can just imagine how appalled he became as more and more bands started growing out their hair and stopped dressing alike! And I know he would have been thrilled by their greeting international press in JEANS that have HOLES in them! :shocked!:
