I haven't seen a thread for this yet, has anyone else seen this? Guitarworld.com is doing a readers poll to determine the best American rock band, Bon Jovi has already beaten out Green Day and Aerosmith to make it to the quarter finals. Pretty impressive IMO.

They just beat Aerosmith on Friday, and the website is currently on the round of 16, they're doing one single round elimination per day, so it'll be about a week before a Bon Jovi round comes by again. I'll try to update this thread when Bon Jovi is up again.

Yeah, I put it on my Facebook group when they were up against Green Day so people in my group have been voting for sure.

Right now Soundgarden is beating ZZ Top... that is sad.

@becky - I'm surprised to see that too. Zz top was winning with 75% of the vote this morning.

I missed both the Green Day and Aerosmith votes, do you know how much Bon Jovi won them by?

Bon Jovi v Van Halen in the quarter finals. The vote will be within the next few days, I'll bump the thread again then.

The website doing this is Guitar World, so I imagine guitar god Eddie Van Halen is going to have an advantage with that sites reads. So get out there, vote early, vote often. ;)

Today's the day, BJ v VH!!! As I predicted, VH is already ahead by 20 percentage points!

We're only allowed to vote once in the thing (so you'll have to clear your cookies to vote again!!!!). Lol. ;)
