That makes sense. I tend to forget Crossroad. :)

Strange that they disappear after Slippery until Crossroad.
Doesn't make too much sense to me.

I don't think I seen David Bowie once on that list either?

It would be interesting to see this video split into countries. In the UK Bon Jovi were at the absolute peak commercially from Faith to These Days. They were untoucable. For instance, These Days went 4 x Platinum. Crush only Platinum in the UK. It's actually their biggest selling album here apart from Cross Road. Worldwide it only sold 1mil less than Crush, which is pretty remarkable considering that it didn't have any of those massive hits that everyone knows like It's My Life, Prayer etc.

Probably because other artists sold even more so they didn't make the Top10 list?

Alphavictim 11-11-2019 12:53 AM

What the hell do you people expect, it is about top TEN artists worldwide. Not about "sold pretty well". There's gotta be no more than NINE other artists TOTAL selling more than you to make that list. I'm more surprised they were on it twice, being among the top 10 artists TOTAL is a super duper major feat.

That was fascinating!! And not just from a Bon Jovi POV. :)

Surprised to see that after Slippery, the only time BJ made a dent was around 95-96. Because of These Days, I assume? With all the talk about how Crush gained so many new fans because of IML, I was expecting another jump around 2000-2001; but nada. Good stuff, Steve!

I found it great viewing!
I noticed the bump around Crossroads and These days as well. Like you I thought they would pop in for Crush era but nope!
They were 4th biggest selling artist in the world at one point.

Glad you enjoyed it!

This song that Jon and Richie are playing with piano and guitar in the Bounce sessions is relaxing, according to you this is a probably song that they have finished later in that session and then discardedÂ…?

Bounce is a great album.... and in my opinion Obie should have made more videos( maybe he made them and deleted)

That sounds like it could have become Open All Night.

Yup, that's Open All Night. Same chords.
