I'd assume it's new, since they kept at it for Real Love.

From what I remember of that time we got the confirmations of Teardrop (2014), Sunday Morning (TC), Blind Love (2005), Fingerprints (TC)...
and I only got the confirmation that there is a demo with Richie of Sunday Morning.

Fingerprints for me is not from (TC) , for me is from (WAN)

The theme "fingerprints" is also in That's What The Water Made Me

I take the blame"

So.. i think Jon chosen That's What The Water Made Me instead of Fingerprints..

And also the sonorities reminds me WAN

Jon has been re-using certain lyric lines again and again multiple times throughout his career.

Many things to me point into the direction that the song was intended for TC. That solo had always reminded me a lot of the bluesy approach Richie used to have. Probably replicated by Shanks for Burning Bridges, but Shanks has never come up with something remotely as interesting or complex guitar wise in his time playing with Bon Jovi. Richie wanted The Circle to be much more guitar-driven again and that's where it's said that some differences (concerning the direction of the sound) between the two came up. I can very much imagine Richie coming up with this solo, but Jon then scrapping the song because it wasn't the standard formula for what is on a Bon Jovi album these days. Plus it's incredibly uninteresting until the solo kicks in.

Thanks for the news :) , i said that Fingerprints was an outtake from WAN also because that song reminds me the sonorities and the Jon's tonality from that album, but yeah now i think that maybe Fingerprints was more probably intended for TC...
it would have been perfect as a bonus track for The Circle.....and i like that solo....
