For me at least, I feel like Yovana and RDK are some of the most interesting people on the board, but are also very annoying at times. I do sympathise with the mods, it's an impossible job. They certainly aren't the main issue with the board. As someone who is quite new compared to most here, by far the most off putting aspect of the board is the ads, especially the ones that have malware on them. That needs to go imo.

However, that does raise another important question: Since I was right in this case, wouldn't that suggest the possibility that I could also be right about those 'other situations' I referred to? Y'know, the ones where people may have jumped to erroneous conclusions... :D

I've got this kid in class who I've warned before because he's rude and just won't shut up. I've had chats with him before, during and after class. I've had conversations about his behavior and his classmates have started to interfere as well saying he needs to stop his nonsense.

Meanwhile, this kid keeps behaving the way he does and it's not really clear why until I see him hanging around the same girl who managed to get discount codes for the PlayStore. He really tried to impress this girl by constantly shouting random stuff and she fell for it and joined in.

Eventually, I told him to pack his things and he wasn't welcome in my class anymore. He returned the next week and continued with the same behavior not having learned his lesson. The girl meanwhile just moved on, never having had any serious interest in him. Unfortunately, the kid was rather daft and really thought he had something going on while he was just one of many. She was desperate for attention as well, but she was desperate for any attention as she's just a weird kid no one hung out with.

So these kids keep having it thinking they're the ones who should receiving the main focus until eventually I sat them both down and had the last serious talk with them. I've asked them why they behaved the way they did and why they felt entitled to their behavior to which they replied they felt it was funny, despite being fully aware on how others were bothered by it. They refused to listen and started a pissing match with both the teacher and class, obviously not realizing they were going to lose as both teacher and class stood above them, both mentally and verbally.

I really tried, but eventually I just said **** it and called their parents as being reasonable wasn't an option. Parents were shocked and within a day all was well in class.

TLDR; I've no idea why this is still going. They were banned for constantly posting nonsense no one cares for and then return and constantly post nonsense no one cares for. Being reasonable doesn't work so I'd say call these 2 lovebirds' parents. Going by the way they're thinking chances are it's just 1 phonecall anyway. And if that's not an option, **** it.

While their misbehaving is annoying, the forum is fairly dead and they somehow bring up some interesting subjects here and there. Until the summer tour not much is going to be discussed here anyway and I'm wondering whether those two bickering kids are the price we have to pay to keep the place alive... or maybe not. Banning them forever may and probably will bring some peace and quiet here but that will be it. I wish I had something interesting to bring to the table but have no access to rarities/unusual stuff and been in the fandom just a few years, not a lifetime, so can only discuss the recent stuff... and tbh, the current state of the band is quite depressing.

I bet they could remove the "wrong" type of ads though and replace with something better?

The ads issue isn't anything the mods have any control over unfortunately.

I'm not saying that RDK said "I'll give you a rare track if you uban me" - rather "do you really want to ban me? I'm gonna share some rare stuff soon". More subtle. Which kinda makes it less likely, given how "subtlety" is not a M.O. I've ever seen the guy display.

It may not have anything to do with saying you guys are an important part of this community; but I also said it was ridiculous for people to think you or RDK would try to bribe the mods over banning. Coming in, now, and suggesting that you'll withhold rarities because you were banned makes it sound like that's exactly what you were doing, even if that isn't the case, as Captain Jovi just confirmed.

I like hearing new stuff; but I'm not a collector, so it's no skin off my nose one way or the other. But if you guys have something that so many people do want, and withhold it just to get back at a mod for doing his job, that would also negate what I previously said about your willingness to share rarities with everyone so freely.

So, imo, one thing absolutely has to do with the other; and I'd probably regret saying anything, at all, if RDK is just gonna come back and basically spit in everybody's face by saying, "Nanny nanny boo boo; I've got something you all want; but you can't have it because I'm mad at him!" Then point at Captain Jovi like it's all his fault that you guys ignored the warnings, as well as multiple complaints from other members, and got banned as a result.

Just for the record, she had nothing to do with any bribing what so ever. She couldn't even give a shit about the 3 day ban either... And to be honest, I couldn't give a shit about my ban either. I go longer days between posts all the time.

I was just mad at the principle behind it all. I tried explaining this to Captain Jovi but he did nothing about it.

That tread about Why This Board Has Gone To The Shitter should have just been re-titled to "Why do Rd and Yo Suck" ... I mean every other comment was about us. We defend ourselves and get banned for throwing this wonderful thread about ripping us up, off topic. The whole thing is ****ing stupid and it's entrapment.

So yeah, I have every right to be pissed.

A good mod would have moved that thread to the non-band section where it belongs and shut it down once it started attacking members, even if you do think they deserved it.

Because that thread contains nothing more than personal attacks against myself and Yovana, I am asking you to delete it from this board. Our names are mentioned way too many times (both positive and negative) and the tile is misleading... or edit the tread to remove any post that contains our names?
