At the end of the day it is a business and should be run like one. If Jon wasn't so business savvy Jovi would have disappeared like so many of their 80's peers long ago...

However, when money starts to become the main focus and the music is a secondary concern, that's where the problem lies....

but now he's a multi millionaire. Why is he worried about merch so much. I know thats where the money is now and not in the actual albums but that shouldnt be his focus. 12 decent songs for a change should be his focus.

It often shows that he does everything by himself. The way BJ target their audience with these '25% off until XY' is extremely annoying and old-fashioned. They use Social Media the way people used to run commercials. They didnt get the interactive part AT ALL. What their Social Media team is doing is not real social media. It is like: What is your favorite song, On this da XY was released and happy Birthday ...., that is basically it.

People constantly complain about their web shop and they NEVER respond to that.

I completely agree, but that's not how a businessman's brain works...

For a look at how social media should work, take a look at a band called The Dead Daisies. They are fantastic at social media stuff and a lot of bands should take a leaf out of their book!

The Dead Daises are excellent at soical media. Bloody good band as well. Same ages as JBJ but making much better music by a mile.
