Most of those people left. I can certainly hold my own in a discussion or disagreement, if I care to. Dry County has always had a contingent of negativity and I do not need to be surrounded by people who like everything. *I* don’t like everything. The difference now is, everyone who actually likes the band or something they do is attacked. So, I have LOST INTEREST in discussing this band here and since the discussion doesn’t interest me any longer, I have no reason to pour through the miserable posts almost everyone else is making. This is not about like-mindedness. This is about realizing I don’t have to put time and effort into something that brings me no joy anymore. That’s why I have posted so little in the last year compared to the 20 before. I have lost interest in participating in this community. The contempt for the band and the moderating team is ridiculous, especially since you don’t know what we deal with now or have dealt with in years past, including vague restrictions/instructions on exactly how to follow the vision of the webmaster.

As you know Becky - I'm with you. I post here very rarely anymore and I gave up moderating years ago. It's such a thankless job, especially when the site owner never backs you up - you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

The difference is between "creative" comments/critics and just mean comments/critics.

I was looking at the THINFS booklet and in the "Thanks" part, Jon mention "Max Martin". Since I couldn't see any participation of him on any songs on the album, I was just wondering why Jon mentioned him. Any thoughts?

Pure speculation, but Roller Coaster sounds like a song where I could see Max Martin having something to do with this. Especially how Jon presented it as a "new Bon Jovi hit song". Wonder why his contribution was not enough to earn a credit.
