Ava Max - Kings & Queens:
Heard that song on the radio a couple of times and always thought that it sounds quite similiar to Bad Name. But I didn't want to impute her to have been "influenced" by Bon Jovi. Now I looked up the songwriters and who has a songwriting credit? Desmond Child. So I think it's fair to say: He did it again :D |
It's more of "If you were a woman" by Bonnie Tyler, but then again, Bad Name was ripped off that and it all was Desmond Child [emoji23]

Desmond is credited along with like 10 other guys. I think it's safe to say that, yeah, he was credited since it is an interpolation of the Bonnie Tyler thing.

The track list on the album doesn't mention any song with David on vocals (only it says: Music and lyrics and co-produced by Bryan). https://shop.udiscovermusic.com/prod...t-recording-cd |

What other bands has Shanks destroyed? Why are back to pointing fingers at Shanks instead of realizing Jon doesn't care.

Keep The Car Running was the best song on Magnetic. Not a fan of the production on the album overall (and also not on the track), but he co-wrote the tune and it's a good one.

When you see what Metallica are doing to celebrate their biggest selling album (remastered, box sets, live shows with guest singers, 8 part podcast on the making of the album - to name a few) its shows you how much Jon couldn’t be arsed with doing anything for SWW.
Being a Jovi fan leaves you short changed if you’re expecting anything exciting and new. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I tell you what, the RNRHOF performance of When We Were Us is the most emotional Bon Jovi have ever made me feel. You can tell how bittersweet it is for Jon to sing with the "band". It really hits me hard everytime I watch it. He doesn't sound that good, but I absolutely love that performance.
I dont really care for When We Were Us as a song but that performance really is something else. Really reminds me of all the major losses in my own life also. Hits the feels man! |
I just read on that Wine Spectator interview that Jon had 2 operations:
"When we realized that the pantries were going to be in dire need of food, we found a way to bring food in from New Jersey so it didn't take away from the suply chain on Long Island. We funded it ourselves between the foundation and me, and we were the ones that supplied the food to seven pantries and ultimately another 25,000 people from May, June, July, August and into September. I was lucky enough to get a hernia operation and a frozen shoulder operation out of it. I am just not made for physical labor." |

There’s a program in the UK called The last leg…don’t know if anyone’s seen it.
They had a small section of Diana the musical and absolutely slated it. They especially hated the songs and music. They showed a few clips and I must say it looked awful. The press and viewers have left savage reviews about it as well. Anyone else seen it? https://twitter.com/atdazzles/status...956983305?s=21 Best not let David contribute anything for the next Jovi album although after last 2….. :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
It's been a long time (actually 2 years since I posted here). So the band is starting to rehearse and that could mean only one thing.
It's time to hit the road again. |
Aloha !

https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/diana_the_musical "As for our lyric contest, I think another contender has to be the one delivered by the trench-coated paparazzi: ‘Snap, click, snap, click, won’t you admit, your storybook marriage is going to shit.’ " This might as well have been written about Bon Jovi's lyrics. I'd love to see a fan put that on a banner at a Bon Jovi show, I reckon it's the only thing to get Jon off auto pilot these days. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |

poor David, I find these musicals boring anyway...
This was funny: https://youtu.be/mTJ3-YiLgH0 |
Saw something about it in the local news site, Stuff.co.nz, and they also ripped it too. From my vague memory, I believe they said the composer was from Bon Jovi so the choruses are the only good thing.

So…I bought a White Kramer guitar and had this painted on it. Will be used for my 80s/90s Rock songs.
It’s currently drying after the final coat. Then he will send it back. What do you think?? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c9fb2112f2.jpg Back https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...50e34ced50.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
