Best live performances of post 2k songs
 

There's a gazilion of great live shows from the 90s, but what about the stuff from after 2000? Despite the declining quality of JBJ's voice, there are definitely a couple of performances that best the studio versions.

One I can easily think of, because it is by far the best rendition of the song, is this:

So, post away, but I guess quality over quantity would be the most suitable approach in order not to clutter up the thread. Maybe we can even get a nice archive going, with an overview of the albums and their songs, and links to definitie performances of them.

This one stood out a lot at the time. I know that the backing track and drum loops are loud as hell but it's a great performance. Hugh being so loud in the mix also adds something to the sound that makes the performance better.


This one I include only because I couldn't find the one from Brazil I think it was. come to think of it, this whole show is amazing....

If we're talking Have a Nice Day my vote goes for this one.


Remember being blown away when I wathced the stream by this performance. Nice to hear Jon actually sound powerful on the chorus and the harmonies lies nicely in the mix.

This is going to be tough for me, almost impossible... There is just way too much material to pull from... I have over 250 bootlegs.

I have a bunch of performances in my head even as I type... The Crush Tour still had some Pre2K 90 style moments.... Jon pulled out some radiant vocals on some Say It Isn't So versions, Richie wailed some solos on Next 100 Years... Just so much!!!

I'll have to get to you on this one...

Jon's anger and Richie being all over the stage make this the essential HAND performance for me (though the one from Boston 2005 is a very close second):
