So, as he confirmed that they filmed three videos in the last couple of days, we can say that those confused informations from twitter were correct, right?

1º Video - This House Is Not For Sale;
2º Video - Knockout
3º Video - Come Up To Our House
4º Video - New Year's Day

Meh. I took the "No" response as pondering the "Christmas card list" for being a statement of keeping someone at distance versus keeping in contact. I definitely would have. Christmas cards are often mass mailed to people you otherwise don't talk to all year long. I wouldn't want to give an answer that could be misconstrued as snarky.

I agree with you on this. I love the voice in this new snippet. Waiting to Friday.

The interview SOUNDED nice and honest but his actions (songs, RT, etc.) show otherwise.

He would care more for new fans because he wants to grow as an artist.
--> I wouldnt consider anything from the last few years growing.
He says he hopes that the new Bob Dylan would be able to be heard.
--> I know many, many artists who produce ART and are heard by others
He was NEVER motivated by MONEY and APPLAUSE
--> Takes part in his own produced sell-out AKA Runaway tours.
----> WWWB documentary: 'I want to sell out the desert.TWICE.
He talks about dumbed down music
--> Puts out Knockout which is dumbed down as hell. I am out listening to the new Nick Cave....

Yeah...right.

The moment he will actually live the things he says, I might believe him again

Bon Jovi has always always always had dumbed down lyrics. Every album has had them. I consider chunks of the album them growing and parts that are so regurgitated but there's always been moments of growth. You might not see it but it's there. Comparing Bon Jovi to Nick Cave is such a baffling comparison that's so far from the same category.

I get vibes that this album is being well received by the ones that have heard it already. The last interviewer on the BeeB has cemented this feeling of mine. I'm really looking forward to it. The first two songs and the most recent snippets of COUTOH and LOL are definitely a way forward through the mud that was WAN. A renaissance indeed :)

I seriously dont see any growth. Changes, yes, growth not.
I didnt comparre Jovi to Cave, I said I am out listening to Nick Cave instead.
I wouldnt care if the lyrics are bland but Jon Bon said he is a good songwriter and that his influences are Cohen, Waits etc. If I hear a line like 'get a ladder there is a cat out in the tree' I have to laugh. I dont judge BJ for putting out dumbed down lyrics, I judge Jon for pretending they are ART and SO much better (than they used to) which I absolutely disagree with.
