That goes for me too... Only "bad" point is that it reminds me a little of Someday I'll Be Saturday Night...I keep listening to it all day...Hopefully we'll have it tonight...Can't wait.

I thought he was actually discussing his vocal condition not just saying that he doesn't sing Bad Name as good anymore or something to that effect...

The guy giving the interview was good all-in-all but it was the same shit. Sorry but it was... Just phrased a bit different

I have to really disagree. Yeah, it was the same stuff but it was much more detailed and we got so much more from Jon during this interview than we have in the past God knows how many years...

This is the first time I have ever heard JBJ pretty much criticize himself. He said himself that he isn't at the level he is capable of vocally. We all knew he surely knew that but for him to actually say it was a bit of a shock.

I think the reason he kept saying the 'where are we now' thing was because the interviewer genuinely found it funny when he first heard it so JBJ said it a few more times.

I found this whole interview very interesting. The interviewer was superb. The questions he asked weren't pushing any buttons but some where stuff you'd expect JBJ to be quite snotty about. The whole Richie Christmas Card list etc...

JBJ seemed in a good mood but you can still tell he is majorly pissed off about a few things. He was dying to say more about the record company. He was so close to saying the guys name that 'Devils In The Temple' is about but knew he couldn't/shouldn't.

After listening to this interview, I think we are going to get an album that is lyrically passionate. Musically, maybe not so much. The lyrics are going to have a lot of aggression and passion behind them.

I can't see us getting another interview like this in a long time, to be honest. Lorraine and The One Show are clearly going to be the usual stuff.

I loved the interview. Jon was funny, honest, and even vulnerable at times. Kudos to the interviewer. And thank you to Dominick (may have misspelled your name) for getting that posted for us. :)

Fantastic interview, many thanks for posting!

The only thing I didn't like was the way he kept referring to Richie's *issues* just right after he talked about "last time he went to rehab we called Phil X to fill in blah blah"

The fans who are following the saga know that Richie's issues are mainly not wanting to be Jon's sidekick again (to sum it up...), but to those who only know that Richie left one day and now he's making music with a blonde chick, it MAY sound like Jon is implying personal problems.

I don't think he is, of course, and I don't think his intention is to cause speculation, but the wording may cause confusion, me thinks

I didn't see anyone talking about this, but did anyone laugh when Jon said "you will never see me on the 'where are they' tour, never hear me coming out of rehab or marying my 7th wife". Digging deep :D
