Hm, I wouldn't take this as a rule. Look at how often he decides to play new stuff on the tour, and how often he rather decides to overplay songs, that might have been good a while ago, but now nobody wants to listen to anymore because they are so overplayed (LH, WLOL, Who Says, Captain Crash, Born to Follow...). I know that this specific phenomen is most probably because of the voice issues, but then he also could have played more songs from The Circle or whatever album they were touring right now (besides the obvious hits, of course). That's the example I had in mind when writing the other, short post. Anyway, I think you'll get my point. :)

Even though I could imagine reasons why Jon wouldn't want to do this (look at the past). But as he stated lots of times already, he's at peace with his past and wouldn't do anything differently if he could choose again

From the 1:30 sample, wow. Great vocals. Tramples over Thick as Thieves as far as mid tempo songs go. Similar theme to I could make a living out of loving you. Really looking forward to hearing it in full. Liking the production, very lush vibe.

As usual, it will probably appear on all stores and streaming services once the clock hits midnight.

Labor of love is definitely something like acoustic Saturday night, but I also hear Livin in Sin a little bit.
