I like the feel of the song as established by the snippet and held up by the full song, but the lyrics are restraining me from loving it.

exactly what I thought too.

It sounds completely as Bon Jovi. It could even fit as a TD B-side. A guitar solo was missed, but the song is really good as it is.

I hate to ask but when do you think the album could potentially leak?

You know what, I agree. With a solo and great backing vocals this would be a classic for me. The song sounds really under-produced, doesn't have a wall of guitars. It's just simple and I think Shanks nailed this one, production wise.

Won't listen to it until later as me and Jude always listen to new songs together (she'd get annoyed if I heard it beforehand lol) but one thing I keep seeing is people talking about lack of guitar solo - as if one should be slotted in EVERY song like a formula.

Personally I think that's what Bon Jovi should get away from (formulas not solos) and actually feel in a way they are with these new songs I've heard so far.
