Personally I think that's what Bon Jovi should get away from (formulas not solos) and actually feel in a way they are with these new songs I've heard so far.

I think Jon is creating its own formula in the absence of potential guitar solos in songs. That sometimes is annoying. But here is not as essential the solo, however, simply it would have done a little better, but not a drama.

About the choir, my problem is just the sound quality, the mixture, which seems like a different take, but I think this can fix with an equalizer filter and re-equalizer until everything is symmetrical.

F*ck it, I caved and gave Labor Of Love a listen. And truthfully, this is something I really like! It doesn't sound like songs from TD or DA, but it gives me that feeling that those albums do. There's a reminiscent feeling to songs like Saturday Night, some of the TD demos and Crush (perhaps She's A Mystery in particular, but I've always loved that song!) There's just something to this song that digs deep into me. Why I don't know, but I'm pleasantly surprised and think that JBJ shows some great potential here. I'm hoping for more gems on the album as a whole after hearing this track.

Yeah, my bad. It was released in march, 23. It has leaks reported around march, 6.

Actually the album was released on March 6, changing its original release date, which was 23th, but that same day he left the new album of Justin Timberlake, and What About Now was moved to March 6, That was not amused to David Bowie.

6 or 7 days before was filtered the album.

The last album of Alter Bridge has leaked 3 weeks earlier.

after 4-5 listenings in questionable monitors, nice song, a grower...the best comment i ve read so far imo is that jon tries to differentiate the bj sound as much as possible, try new ways, the chorus is weak imo but the verses are great

For once we agree, you're right, the band is trying to find it's way around the glaring absence of Richie Sambora and trying new ways around it in these songs - I'm liking it. It's not to say I wouldn't love a Richie Sambora shredding solo but since we're not going to get that, I can be pretty happy with what they are doing.

I haven't heard the song yet but we wouldn't get a Richie Sambora shredding solo anyway. Fingerprints had more of a solo than a lot of RS stuff.

I much prefer this over thinfs or knockout. This sounds like it was written organically without the usual formula.

Nothing spectacular but as an album track I would happily not skip it.
