Real Love is a great song... Better than Blind Love IMO... It actually reminds me of the Soul Truth... I always wonder when Jon sings these songs today if we are just getting the TLFR version of what could be an amazing song 20 years ago...

I really think they are doing an A+ job promoting this album... Really utilizing social media to the max...

I've come around to Real Love as well.

But there's a lyric in All Hail The King which really bothers me.

"Poor man has his money, the rich man has his gold... "

How does a poor man have money? Isn't that what makes him poor?

Am I missing something?

it's like a conclusin IMO
(when) poor man FIND his money and (finally) rich man has his gold
(but) All hail the king whose fortune is his soul (not his money or gold)

he wanted to say something that there's a balance when people want to share to each other, the poor man finally has his money and rich man has his gold (something better than money) all hail the king..all the people who dont measure everything by money..and willing to share ..willing to give..willing to bless one another...IMO..may be someone has a better opinion..becaue if i am not mistaken it's about JBJ soul foundation right ?

I would Say Gold ranks higher in value than money, due to the fiat System. so people who can afford it more likely secure their possessions in Gold while "poor men" only got money.
I doubt that jon thought of that while writing the Song, though. ;)

Not sure I get the praise for THINFS. It's exactly the same performance as in Ellen with Jon bailing on the same notes in the chorus and only singing the easy parts. I guess the backup vocals are a bit louder here than on Ellen, so that's why it's better? Anyway, it's just acoustics/mixing, the performance itself is identical.

On the other hand, Who Says was quite decent and sounded like 2013, unlike the London or Microsoft show.

It sounded fine in London as the backing vocals were high enough up in the mix to not notice Jon not singing them, whereas on Ellen they were so low it sounded dreadful. If the mix is right, they can make it work.

Reunion is a nice surprise. Hopefully the album version is similar to it's recent live performances. (that repetitive guitar lick can go though)

That won't play for me - could be my pop blockers are set too high.

I mean the nice surprise is the promo show versions being more band driven as opposed to just Jon and his acoustic! I hope the album version is very similar to what we heard in the last two shows. (apart from that guitar lick which is overused!)
